  1. I will be along with a friend of mine from the SXOC. Come on guys, everyone LOVES a tunnel run, and this ones for a good cause too. I'm sure lots of you have heard of this before, lets show a strong 350Z turnout!
  2. I'm guessing with these sizes you wont be needing spacers! Low offset and a wide wheel, would it rub any u think? Also what size tyres would you reccomend on wheels that size? Also has anyone thought of using 18" front wheels and 19" rear wheels. I know those type G Rays came like that on those cars...
  3. Hey Lou, welcome, glad you got registered ok. Get a post up in the meets section, im sure a fair few of us will be along. I'll poke them all until they give in if needed!
  4. Would any of these wheel sizes be ok to use on the Z: 18×9.0J ET 32 5H-114.3 18×9.0J ET20 5H-114.3 18×10.0J ET32 5H-114.3 18×10.0J ET18 5H-114.3 I was thinking about 18x9 on front and 18x10 on rear? Weds Sport SA-70's
  5. I'd go for a red lip so they look like time attack wheels. Would look a bit more racy like this , but lose that stealth look. Ill put up pics of my lip once its fitted on Saturday mate.
  6. Go for the typhoon? Looks lovely and a few users on here have had nowt bad to say about them..I've checked on some of the US zed sites and they really rate this..sound lovely too. It's like double the price tho, i only want it for the noise and i cant justify £235 for a noise maker that the ECU will cancel out anyhow!
  7. Ah bummer, i was about to order one from ESR when they shutdown, and now i have no idea where to get one from!
  8. Oil or water based paint? Chips Away told me it costs more now with water based paints, plus costs them more to dispose of the waste properly. Booo to the environment Um honestly i dont know, the car was my own colour, i had a full respray done in a VERY white white if that makes any sense. All std white paints have loads of other colours mixed in, this one didnt I changed the bumper and had the bonnet extended, so had to have them both painted.
  9. Welcome to the club mate, the car is looking good. Get yourself along to the Wales Driveout and say hi to us all!
  10. Prices must of skyrocketed recently. In my earlier days i paid £150 to have my front bumper and bonnet resprayed. Was a good job too, off the car rubbed down and painted. £300 now for a bumper How much do people think it would cost to spray a pair of rear nismo spats?
  11. I must admit white would be my favourite colour choice, but i couldnt afford a UK white one :-( And i avoided getting a GT one, as i really dont like the Orange leather seats, steering wheel and gear gaiter!
  12. I bet now i've said that they will be messing about drinking tea and eating biscuits when you arrive!
  13. Great job there mate. Inspiration for me to get a clay bar on my car once the weather picks up. No garage for me to work in unfortunately.
  14. How can they run a garage and not have biccies? Its a staple diet for a mechanic, tea and biccies. Maybe its a northern thing Strange as it may seem these mechanics Work! they are always busy, barely have time to drink tea no matter about eating biccies! I however do like them myself so ill try and get some to take, Tom might appreciate it too. Garibaldi's Make great dunkers ! OK OK, ill put them on my shopping list, the things i do to keep you lot happy
  15. Welcome mate, im sure you will find a lot of help here if needed.

  17. If you really want biccies, i can bring some along :-p
  18. I like it mate looks great, just wondering why you painted the carbon splitter? If you wanted to paint it wouldn't it of been cheaper to get the FRP one? The door handles look great, been thinking about doing mine, but not so sure they would look as good orange!
  19. Indeed fleet is about a mile down the road, lots of food places there. If i can nab a lift martin, could pop down there when my cars being done They can make a mean cuppa at TGM tho!
  20. LOL hes not the sort to hold a grude over 2 bolts. Be worth getting a quote from them, all the work i have seen them do has been top notch, and if you know them already theres some trust/experience there that i think pays out in the end.
  21. I'm agreeing with you atm Chris, i have the Carbon Ceramic type Dixcel pads, and in this cold icy/wet weather they dont perform all that well. Never hit them hard enough to get any heat in them / pad on the discs. On the plus side tho, even with all this slow braking, no squeal or anything which is a plus.
  22. I'd avoid anything from EBC myself, ive only ever heard bad things, pads disintigrating and the discs warping/cracking. The ferodo pads are meant to be good, i also rate the Dixcel ones i have and mintex make some great pads too. Spend a bit more, its your safety at stake aswell!
  23. Think i will wait and see if you muster up a tunnel run in the summer!
  24. Only the 06 onwards ones, im Glad i got an 05 now! Also from what i have read the loder engine has the most torque and therefore in daily driving is the best of the 3 to have. also next to no performance difference between any of the 3 types of engine, dont worry about the numbers mate!
