  1. I have got a spare set of the camber/toe bolts for the rear that i havent used. Think they are about £30 new...
  2. Have you had the gear knobs arrive?
  3. Bungs out, i dont use bungs they are for girls The camera doesnt do the volume/sound justice at all, but they never do. It was ear splittingly loud in that location in the flesh.
  4. pah martin you gotta come up with us in convoy saturday morning!
  5. I dont think it is! I heard a K1 in wales last year, and to me the buddy seems noticably louder. Will be interesting to see with them together what the difference actualy is.
  6. Is the K1 not similar in sound mate?
  7. That is it, nice one mate! Have to say i think it sounds a lot better when moving under load :-) Your more than welcome to have a look / listen to mine sometime if your local or going to wales, and i will try and get some decent drive by videos when its dry next.
  8. I used to scrape my Y pipe 1-3 times a day, wore through the braiding and snapped the pipes in the end! Are you going to have the old Nismo pipe chris?
  9. ive only booked the hotel for sat night so cant be going up on friday. I'm not scared of an early start!
  10. This one! I know the meet point isnt final, i was just suggesting that we could all meet somewhwere part way, but make our own (or small groups) way there in a direct route!
  11. That is a fair bit off, Jenna i live in newbury, you could drive through basingstoke to newbury, meet me there and we can join up with the M40 convoy at the sevices just opast oxford, saves about 20-30 extra miles.
  12. If the K1 is as loud as my Buddy Club, its anti-social, i scare peope on pavements when i go past now, its unbelievably loud!
  13. Im going to stick up a for sale post for it with a few pics for around £500 and see what happens. 5Zigens are expensive new, and my old one is rarer than the others :-) Would suit someone with a std y pipe who wants a nice sound but to keep the backpressure and torque at a more standard level, with the looks of the 2 cans.
  14. You didnt get it laquered before you fitted it.... Its always advised to get a good bodyshop to over laquer the carbon for extra shine and toughness, and to sort out any bits like that. Might not be too late to get it done still mate.
  15. Tom said you had called him re the spacers etc... Go for it mate, you wont be disappointed. He can get the buddy next day, and the spacers you need. Your more than welcome to have a listen to mine befopre hand if that would help you to choose.
  16. id like to join if its early sat am, im in berkshire too. dont want to be late and miss the sat drive out tho.
  17. I will be coming up from berkshire, sat am fairly early, will be arriving up there to attend the sat drive out. more than welcome to drive up, but i have no idea where chichester is! Would be good to get a convoy with a few others who are going for the sat.
  18. How many you got coming along, i might venture over if there will be a few.
  19. Come on people lets get everyone local along, the weathers picking up will be great.
  20. Well its LOUD. Sounds very warbly like the nismo / 5Zigens, but a whole lot louder. Its extremely loud without bungs. Oh in the vid we had it popping flames aswell! Oh better add, the 5Zigen Miracle Fireball y-back exhaust that was on the car is for sale, and available for collection from TGM. Pics available on request.
  21. As a few of you know, i had a nasty case of holed Y-pipe and have been driving around with it blowing badly for the last week or so... Well today its sorted! I bit the bullet and bought a new exhaust system including the y-pipe. Buddy Club Pro Spec, a few pics can be found below. A video was taken of it running afterwards, but i need to get the link off the guy that took it! Here it is as it was fitted by myself! Got it for a total bargain from TGM Sports, less than retail, and i used his ramp/tools to fit it FOC. Quality of the exhaust for the price was AMAZING, best fitment i have ever seen, all gaskets and bolts and a nice sticker, very happy. Link to the vid, only a standing rev atm (i wasnt doing the revving!) Will get a drive by when i can. I will get some on car pics next time the weather is ok, and put up a link the the video once i have it.
  22. Gummi Pfledge isnt the holy grail... It has lessened my noise somewhat, but no way is it solved. You need to do the window reset thing, involves taking the doorcard off and putting the windown up and down whilst pushing something on the motor. do a search on it, but be prepared for a job that takes a while and is fiddly. Will do mine at some point.
  23. Mines not flush either, ill have a go adjusting it later on.
  24. Colour plays IMO a large part in the choice of a car. I was only willing to buy a Z that was susnset, azure or white, and the only one i could find that i could afford at the time was a suset. There were Zeds for sale in other colours at less money/better spec/less miles, but i wasnt interested in a grey one. Prices are completely dependant on peoples priorities, ive always managed to sell my cars over the odds price wise in the past as i have sold to people that 'really' wanted my exact car/ spec.
  25. I'm interested in the seats, ahev you got any pics of your actual ones you could send me? Did you say they have 350Z subframes and everything ready to go with them?
