  1. Dont decat it Mark, it will add too much Rasp IMO, remove the Y Pipe silencer if you want it louder, but a better bet would be to get a custom exhaust place to make up a centre pipe with no silencer, that way your not cutting up your 5Zigen one.
  2. I'm tempted to go for it, the stock headers are a big restriction and you will get better flow and sound with them replaced. My garage said he would be able to do them, but its a bitch of a job, still tempted to do it when im next a bit flush tho. TADDY if your going for a remap and want a bit more noise, id go for it.
  3. Very true Mathys, i do on occasion wish i had kept the Nismo, and whacked it on with the HFC's i have now
  4. Has anyone tried to fit a pair of these? As we dont need folding seats to let rear passengers in, i am toying with the idea of some fixed buckets as replacements. I'm wondering if anyone has done this before, what seat rails to use and some reassurance that a bucket will fit! Adrian
  5. Nothing really its fairly easy with a ramp and the right tools. They will need to undo the top 2 bolts from the top with the bonnet up before putting it up on the ramp tho. Look forward to a great sound mate, they sound amazingly good!
  6. Hopefully the good weather might bring a few of you guys out, heres hoping for a good 350Z turnout.
  7. i'll prob be up for this too if im available the weekend its set for.
  8. I'm not sure how that works if you go past your MOT expiry date. I left it till the last minute on purpose, but the track day is after the current one expires, so im not sure you can. The wheels would get about 2 miles use on my car!
  9. Has anyone localish to crowthorne got a set of wheels with road legal tyres i could use for an MOT? One of my front tyres is right on the wear lines, and my MOT is next week... I have sorted new tyres, but im doing a track day the sat after! So dont want to put my brand new vreidesteins on for the MOT then destroy them on the track. If anyone can help, that would be brilliant, as i plan to change to the new tyres straight after being on track. cheers Adrian
  10. I got some C-spanners and may be able to help this weekend with maybe dans help!! Lowest point on mine is the ypipe flexies... Cuscos a-arms are good but there are some others on the market that are a tad cheaper, Did you say that you had an issue with the toe bolt on the PM to me? Oh the advantages of the Buddy Club Y with no flexis, i used to scrape the flexis on the Nismo Y all the time, now the exhaust doesnt touch anything :-)
  11. I scrape a lot aswell, the front lip takes the most of it! Dan do you scrape on the bumps in crowthorne? I hit them all :-(
  12. Cheers guys, got to be worth it for £9.
  13. i didnt take any pictures of fitting them, i was so busy swearing at all the locked on awkward nuts!
  14. If you go 255F 275R on the rays, the tyres will literally bulge over the sides and they will hadle like crap! Get some wide 18's 9" F , 10" R at least, and that size tyres, then you will have some benefit.
  15. Collected mine and have fitted them... Sound is great, im actually thinking it might be louder than with my decats on! A bit raspy again, but not as much as it was. Happy with the product, cheers guys.
  16. I'm going to coombe in a couple of weeks, and am slightly worried my exhaust might be too loud. Can you get an exhaust noise test done anwhere? I have tried a couple of local MOT places, and no luck. Also rang Castle Coombe, they only have the tester there certain days so i cant even get them to test it! HELP! Does anyone down south own one, or know someone that does, or know a place that can test it? Cheers Adrian
  17. I just took my decats off and went back to standard CATS, and honestly i think there is a big difference. The car feels more willing to pull low down, but a LOT LESS urgent in the high rev range. Luckily im fitting the BERK sports CATS shortly, otherwise id be putting the decats straight back on! Go for it with decats mate, they make the car pull a lot better high up, and make it sound so much better.

    Tyre Sizes...

Currently i run 245/35/19 F 275/35/19 R, and the tyres are getting pretty low. They are only about 8 months old, and almost bald on the FRONT!!!! already, rears still have a bit left! Falken FK452 atm. Am looking at Vreidestein Ultrac Sessantas, but they are really expensive in 275/35/19... Looking at the size ratios using calculators, i am wondering about the possibility of fitting.... 265/30/19 F 295/30/19R these would fit fine on the wheel, but im a tad worried it might catch the rear arch? Anyone tried using tyres of this sort of size before? Cheers Adrian
  19. I knew it was only a matter of time until someone picked up on this, i made it oh too easy!
  20. Not much left on mine, need to get my bits that are in the bodyshop fitted, and have it serviced, should be all good after that!
  21. Yep was nice to meet you buster, will see you again at Dorset show in a couple a weeks.
  22. I get waves a lot too, i drive past one guy in a black 350Z both ways to work and home most days, and we wave and flash every time lol.
