  1. hiya, No still havent seen the 'one' yet! (ok, im fussy) I'm slightly tempted by that offer, but i know they're trying to get rid to make space for the 370... i might want one of them....
  2. http://www.wlmg.co.uk/350z/?gclid=CKX7r ... Qgodxk-RDg £19,995 for NEW 58 Reg 350's I just called them, all you need to add on top is the metallic paint for about £400 (sorry if a repost)
  3. It doesn't make any difference, just wondering why he would want to part with such a lovely example. The seller has clearly spent time, money and love on it
  4. Reason for sale? Not sure if you covered that...
  5. I'm sure someone will tell me if i'm wrong but most Japanese imports (any make of car) tend to have the square shaped space for the rear number plate, whereas UK cars have the oblong shape for it to fit into. I think there are other tell-tale signs too, can't think off-hand. Welcome to the forum too
  6. Yep, i could do but as I said "but it has no log book and DVLA still have the original owner as the official keeper"
  7. It's a lot of money to throw at something that's not quite right. The dealership wanted me to pay for the car, get it delivered to my address and sit back and wait for the V5 to be sent through, though i can't drive it as it's not taxed and doesnt officially belong to me...err, i don't think so! Anyway, at least i have my full requirements list now, Azure Blue, Sat Nav, facelift etc..the 'one' is out there waiting for me
  8. Well, bad news. I've had to pull out of this deal as i'm not comfortable with the car. I've found out that it is a reposession - which is not a bad thing - but it has no log book and DVLA still have the original owner as the official keeper. Also, there is only one key and no original documentation with the car (service history etc), i assume the car was lifted off someone's driveway and towed away. Anyway, the upshot is, im (hopefully) getting my deposit back and will continue to look.
  9. I got a couple of £ off, i also P/X'd my R Reg E36, so that gave me a small amount of dosh too. I thought it was really competitively priced for the spec/age/condition.
  10. Can't wait to post my pics...I hope it's not just me that's ever been bouncing off the walls, waiting to get hold of the Zed?!
  11. Welcome, my picking mine up on Wednesday Happy Zed ownership to us all
  12. Bargain! Actually, it's not too bad for a young 'un like yourself. I'm the same....wont be able to sleep properly until i pick the motor up, tis exciting eh!
  13. Welcome Hawkie, I put a deposit down on an Azure Blue myself today. When do you pick yours up? I get mine on Wednesday. Enjoy the car and the forum,
  14. @CS, i spoke to Ian last week and dealt with Raj today. Great people there, very helpful and let me, my husband and my brother test drive the car without complaint. Gave us plenty of time to examine and chat about the car and purchase etc. I'm really happy with the experience and customer service i received at Sturgess, fully recommend the place. I'm looking forward to the long drive back to Herts with the car on Wednesday!
  15. I test drove the Azure Blue today and put a deposit down, collection on Wednesday. http://www.sturgessgroup.co.uk/usedcars ... &model=911 ps, thanks to 350 member "CS", who put me onto the car in the first place
  16. Cheers, CS You have PM Re: Nissan Approved, that's all good to know, thanks for all your help everyone
  17. I took a 2006/55 plate 18k mile 350 for a test drive on Sunday and when i got up to 70mph, the passenger window 'dropped' about an inch. The dealer who was with me kept trying to close it, but it was obviously knackered. Is this a common problem, especially at this low mileage? I don't know anything about car dealerships, but i was wondering what happens to used cars, arent they supposed to go through rigorous checks before being sold on again or am i being slightly naive? (This car was being sold by a main Nissan dealer) Cheers all
  18. I got a brochure from Glyn Hopkin in Watford just a couple of days ago, they also gave me a slim brochure-ette with the Tech spec in it. There's a load more info in the link above though.
  19. I like the Gunmetal as it's quite subtle, I've seen lots of Silver ones about so don't really want one of those (I also had a Silver E46). I'm undecided, though it's great having such a lovely dilemma I just want to say that having read loads of info on this forum, there is a wealth of information for noobs like myself, it's fantastic site, thank you.
