Sandy +1 (Sunday 6th only) Sorry guys, im afraid im gna have to drop out of this one Some arse drove into the front of my car yesterday while i was at work, and i dont think its going to be cheap to repair. The damage isnt major, needs a front bumper respray and a new number plate holder, as long as theres no damage behind. pretty pi**ed off atm, but @*!# happens. Was struggling to get the time off from work anyways, now with having to get the car repaired too, it wont be done before the trip and i could do with saving the cash from not going so i can get the car repaired Surprise surprise the person that drove into it left no details as always

erm.... yes this is me, but I called her about a month ago to cancel this. Will sort it. Cheers -
Received today, cheers Tim. Now just need to wait for the weather to sort itself out!
-
Awesome, cheers Tim Btw guys, i went with the Dodo Supernatural panel pot and a few pre wax bits, will post up results when ive had time to sort the car out.
-
The CSL pics looked good. Tim, would you suggest the generic waxes over something like the light fantastic? I saw Ho got some very nice results using supernatural and then light fantastic over the top.
-
Hi all, Ive been using Pete's '53 from CG, but my wax pot is starting to look a bit bare. So im now considering what to replace it with ^^ Choices are atm, CG 50/50 paste wax or something from the dodo juice range. Its a GM car so something that gives good results on the lighter cars would be good. reccomendations.... Also, anyone used EZ creme or other pre wax glazes? views on these... I normally use Jetseal 109 to seal it every so often, so im just after something between this and wax if its worth bothering with?
-
Was it worse than Andys(AK350)? His looked like someone shot at him!
-
Am i right in thinking that if the speakers are changed, the amp must also be changed at the same time? Something to do with the 1Ohm resistance load? maybe i got this the wrong way round and its the speakers wont run with a different amp?
-
Yeah, Admiral allow for mods - all mine declared and they quoted £309 for this year (incl protected no claims, courtesy car and free European Green card). No-one else can get near to that price for me How??? That is good I'm paying that and I've got 8 years no claims! Im paying more than that with 5 yrs NCB, and it parked on the drive. But i am 23 altho ive got the old man as a named driver to stop it being thousands!

JTS - Japanese Tuning Show - Silverstone, Sun 31st May

He had way more grunt than me coming up the hill on bridge straight! Caught me quite quickly when I was trying to pass some very slow car (it was a white something) ^^ -
What year car ? its a 58, so should have 309 hp anyways. The WHP figure is pretty poor at only 233, so maybe its crap at calculating transmission losses.

North Weald Airfield Day 16th Aug - Book Now!
Richie replied to Chris`I's topic in Motorsport & Track Days
Chris, are these like normal track days where you can do as many laps as you like on each track (time permitting)? Also, im gna need some reccomendations for tires that wont be shreded in 1 20 min session. The state of mine after Silverstone crappy bridgestones! Ive lost all the small grooves on the inside of the tyre that are for clearing the water, but the main tread of the tyre still has loads left! Think maybe its a tracking issue, but anyways I had lumps of rubber coming off the tyre. Think it was just too hot for them -

It was me, I waited for Fiddy to give him back his Jumper then this guy started talking to me. He just sold his Z3M coupe and likes 350z's....I think I sold him one I was last to leave pretty much. You gave the jumper to 3FIDDY? It was MY350B's mates jumper. -
Mine put out 314.5 at the fly a few weeks ago when I had it on there, completely stock. The guy who owns the rolling road said that cars that had been tested elsewhere (in the local-ish area) got lower results on this one, than others so they claim it not to overstate the measurements but well its more about how it feels than what it can measure on the rollers.

Now was it Rooner or Boomer that was the last to leave talking to that guy as we all left? Im surprised you managed to get away! He seemed intent on talking as he was still there when I got back from handing my helmet back. Was nice meeting everyone too, and cheers Mick for being my tour guide to Silverstone National, also if you could send me a link to that place you mentioned about the helmets i would appreciate it! -

Well i finally got home about 8 after my very slow drive back! I am never going to make jokes about leaving the spare wheel at home to save weight again! Cheers Rob for organising a great day, really enjoyed it! Finally managed to get the Zed out on track and was very impressed. Shame the tires really couldn't cope with the heat completely shreded from just 1 20 min session out! I now need to dig all the rubber out of the grooves at somepoint this week ^^ -

I could be up for this, will have a chat at JTS. Need to check with work too -
Yes, another ipod query, but bear with me...
Richie replied to rogerxp's topic in I.C.E & Electronics
Yup, sounds like an FM transmitter. The factory fitted bose stereos have no additional connectors free to plug in add-on items and I didn't notice any free wires when I was replacing my HU. I seriously doubt they would be splicing into the factory loom (if that would even work!) so it will more than likely be an overpriced FM transmitter. IMHO the best way to use your ipod is to change the HU from the crappy looking BOSE that looks like it came from the 80's! My sister has a belkin FM transmitter and loves is, but you have to use the ipod to change tracks/playlists etc which i didn't like. -

Guys, leave the spare wheels at home if you wish to lose Louis! Were all a bit overweight compared to his lil civic!
