If you get a propper remap you can totally disregard the D1 controller The remap sharpens up the throttle AND removes the limit from the 1st and 2nd. I disagree strongly. a pair of those will do fine on first and second gear.

its what i tihnk about everytime i do a mod ! most youl get is 300 give or take vs 309 stock , greekman will correct me here if im wrong but i think hes running about 340 with with basic mods. +1 nismo intakes and y-pipe/back box nismo exhaust (all slightly used), unknown high flow cats from the states and uprev. Took the car from stock to 340bhp (v v hot reading, according to rs tuning could be a bit more if colder) and all in all cost a bit more than 1k. Then i put a couple of stones on and some very heavy 19'' dotz hanzos and its all gone....

Get an already FI car like a Golf GTI. Or a shirroco (or however its spelt) Not a lot of weight you can save on the zed, not a lot of bhp you can get unless you are talking about 5 digits. the question is too general to be answered. all i know is that i can keep up with a 911 in the twisties...eaaaaaaaasy....but only just with a boxster S on a straight line....and thats 15K later instead of spending money on bhp mods get a later model with a HR engine. thats the best mod me thinks.

Plus you get a nismo plate as well for the original one. bonus! ps i dont thing anyone would use the original one afterwards anyway but just in case you wanna sell the car at some point. take extra care when screwing the knew knob. there is guide here somewhere.

Get a new after market knob. make sure its a heavy one as well. improves the feeling of the gear change by a lot

i wouldnt mind 50k on the clock or more. check the roof for leaks and dodgy rubber seals. good luck

Greekman , disagree with this quote, when you fit a LSD you dont change the Crown Wheel Pinion so therefore the driveline loss will not change. Mark Thanks for the input Mark

RS tuning in Leeds use a wheel dyno. Abbey hub one as far as i am aware

MPS2s and 050As are mixing just fine so far. even in the wet. in fact comparing to how it was with worn out rear MPS2s now its brilliant! again i cant comment on the ESP kicking in early. its always off now or bypassed if i wanna play. suspension always set on stiffest.

Thats exactly why these things happen. Because the attitude nowadays is its always somebody else's fault!!! Nothing to do with EU but our own stupid laws!. Thats dissapointing that they only start working when close, i would hope they start quite early so i have confidence they are working! I understand using the second aerial that is supplied boosts the range. It does but i havent used it. extended range means more interferance.

i v got both front and rear from parking dynamics or smth. they work fine. some interferance from the rear but nothing much and i havent even insulated the bar. my rear ones are the ones with the little digital indicator cons....they are very very loud. especially the rear ones. think of a lorry reversing and they dont start beeping unless you are really close...they start beeping when the normal ones would be making the continuous sound!!! but you can park at very tight spaces.

rear left tyre was highly illegal so needed tyres asap. i could only get 050As for the next day. after some some unreasonable driving over the weekend i can confirm that tha car is absolutely brilliant. used to be severely oversteery but now i cant get it to skid...sometimes not even on first gear!!! now i need to see how it is in the wet. i understand the logic behind the whole thing but i really think a test day with lots of data is needed to confirm it. otherwise is just assumption that seems logical.

08 roadster HR engine Nismo air intakes, high flow cats (unknown make), nismo exhaust, nismo LSD uprev at rs tuning in leeds shell v power petrol whp - 340.7 hp fwhp - 283.1 hp torque - 290 ft.lb ish fluel consumption now dreadful apparently there are more drivetrain losses with the nismo lsd set at the time at 1.5 and 80%. dont know for sure. still looking into it.

just put new rear 050As and kept the PS2s at the front. front ones are about 40% down. rears 35 psi and adjusted fronts to 36 psi to compensate a bit on the difference on the side wall stiffness. nitrogen all over. cant notice anything with the ESP but thats cos the racelogic overrides it. the back feels a bit more stiff now tho. will keep you posted. ps i really doubt it will make any difference on reasonable driving...but i dont think i am reasonable...

i am utterly in love with the front diffuser!!! i did have to lift the front quite a bit tho but worth it anyway

got it from the bodyshop and it looks yummy!!! B) still waiting for the rear spoiler...should be on its way here adjusted the nismo diff as well and put some different juice in and its miles miles better!!!

i think ian is right...if it makes it any easier the manifold side is triangular but one of the edges is much further than the others. i can post a pic and measure it if you want me too but less of the "friend" m8! or you will lose your "benefits"

Nothing happens to the kids...but filling a parent in wont go any further either....plus the kids can easily be caught walking down a nice quiet road... its wrong and crap the way our society goes...if i cant be better i ll be worse hehe
