Yes a bit of a 'roll', but car stock except ferodo pads. Need to improve on brakes though as significant fade after 15 mins (Rock International is a brake killer though...)... after ~1hr they had cooled sufficiently for next session. I've sent PMs to the traders who should be able to help/advise
Overall though car handled great, with very predictive handling (ESP off)... as we should expect for a performance vehicle with strong reviews ...

Jap Fest2 at Rockingham (Aug 2010).
I had the registration on another car, and rather than keep on retention I placed on the Zed - I then learnt that 'S30' was the original code name for the 240Z - a happy coincidence
-
...last one..

As above... big thanks to Martin (always far more pain in organising these events than meets the eye
Good to meet some of the 350Z crowd.
Mitch - please let me know again the name/model of your rear light units - looked very smart following you up the road (plus I'm going to have to clay/polish my car so it's as bright as your GM !).
The track sessions with ~6 cars were great, my last one with ~25 cars was more of a procession with some crazy driving... inlcuding overtakes on yellow flag
Some pictures.... sorry for the [justified] bias towards one car...

Blue Coupe and GM Cabriolet. Both with professional bike racks fitted.
No doubt having some bike fun at the event ?
-
is there any performance benefit in spacers, or just the fact you get benefit with lowered car and spacers will help balance the look ?
is there any -ve for using spacers ?
I'm just old school when mini's etc were fitted with spacers for looks alone.... and the quality was suspect.
-
nice
will have to find out if you visit Brands or Snett ?
-
Hi there
What are these like on stock car with Rays ? do they need spacers for looks ? (which I don't want to fit).
thanks...
(I'm assuming you researched this so will save me time and effort
-
... and the car/wheel colour combo looks great....
-
some pictures
the wheels were wet from washing car... (you can see where water has rub around spoke) and had ~100 miles on them so some dust...
(ping me if anyone does want the voucher)
-
ok - ok I'll post a picture later...
NOTE - I have a 15% off voucher if anyone wants it ? (has to be used by 1st June though) that's a £30 saving - so four wheels for £170

Alloy Wheel Art - Southend on Sea
Full refurb. Powder finish, baked in oven all on same day (car has to be with them before 0900, and then avail at 1730).
£50 + VAT per wheel.
Very pleased with results - Rays with a Silver metallic (he really liked these wheels
Some good reviews on piston heads as well - which is where I found them.
Was going to use same as RTbiscuit, but this is nearer for me, plus I took train in to London for some sightseeing and lunch
-
Many thanks Attak and Martin.
Hotel Riu Arecas - looks good (just shows as half board for dates required - but good enough - and very good reviews). Others also look good - but more pennies - esp as all inclusive available.
(Martin - I forgot to mention we might be joining them so your place not quite big enough
Cheers again...

My daughter, son-in-law and grandson want an all inclusive holiday in the sun during mid-May at a 'reasonable' price (with kids club).
Thinking of Canary Islands.
Any recommendations ?
(There's a lot of choice out there, but most have very mixed reviews on trip advisor - so any actual experience and reviews greatly appreciated).
Thanks

PM sent
-
Rich - I rang wicked wheels and they quoted £70+VAT per wheel for mobile refurb, with a one year guarantee.
Roo - that's a good price at £45 per corner.
-
Any about to come up for sale ?
(before I pay to have mine re-furbished).
Thanks....
-
Sorry can't make this one. Will try and make another and/or organise another meet (still feeling guilty after missing RTbiscuits last gathering

Hi Mitch... sorry to read this.
If it was the chap I met (when parked next door to you recently) then he did come across as a very genuine and nice chap... but obviously had a skeleton the size of a dinosaur in the closet......
I hope the polishing and post-polish wine will help lessen the memory....
