  1. I think the Americans get the MP3 compatible version. I downloaded an American user manual, before buying my Zed, and it clearly mentions mp3 playback. I was a bit miffed when I found out that the UK version didn't . I also just use an FM transmitter. It was fairly cheap and nasty but seem to work quite well
  2. Spotted, on another site, that the latest version will not run on systems currenly running version 6.x maps. Not sure how accurate this is but guess it means that some type of further upgrade (firmware?) of the satnav system will be need to run the latest map disk. My 06/07 map is version 7.x so maybe this is the latest. Also found this site http://muply.webs.com/ Not sure how kosher it is but they may be able to provide further info if you wish to move from your '05 version
  3. Any clues here http://www.civictype-r.co.uk/forum/view ... z&start=20 I'm also a previous CTR owner and just happened to come across your post
  4. Some 2007 dvds here http://search.ebay.co.uk/search/search. ... teq+nissan and the latest 2008/2009 here http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0336044539 though not sure if this will work as some references mention needing a software update disk before this will work on the zed Though if someone would like to buy and test it for future reference, it would be appreciated
  5. Silver zed passed me around Nether Whitaker garden centre at about 16:30. Waved but could really see the driver
  6. I've noticed a few of the latest maps appearing on fleabay. Shown as a light blue colour and 2008/2009 Map Version Code: E0E 363R 25920 JU40A DVM-1405E. I'm currently running a 2007/2007 version 7.x map. Does anyone oknow if this will work? Some info seems to state that the 350z sat nav needs updating from an update CD before newer map versions can be used. A few 2007 map versions (7.x) going http://search.ebay.co.uk/search/search. ... teq+nissan
  7. At around 16:30 this evening. Traffic was pretty slow. I was on the inside of you in my Postman Pat look alike van. I even put a club flyer on my window to attract you attention.......think I need therapy
  8. Black roadster at the Wheatsheaf lights this evening at 16:50. Top was down and looking
  9. Right I'll print the club flyer and meet you there to give you a leg up over the fence.......hopefully no large, hungry guard dogs about
  10. Caught a glimpse of a lovely Zed on someones drive (behind wall and gates). Seems like a family of car lovers as there are several other nice motors parked out front as well, all black. Possibly Solihull area, not sure and don't want to post road . Hope you're a member on here or I might have to scale the fence to put a flyer under your wiper
  11. Looking . I feel even more guilty for not washing mine this weekend now
  12. Welcome to the club . Don't wory about being a noob I went on the last Wales run just 4 weeks after picking up my Zed. The wife came along and both had a great day. Was made to feel very welcome by all. Some fantastic roads and it really does make you feel special when you convoy through the villages and see some of the reactions
  13. Looks great . My previous car was silver and could never get it to look that good!
  14. Just visited the Nissan site for the first time in a while. Noticed the Sports Car section is showing 370Z, GT-R and 350Z roadster. Are they keeping the roadster versions going until a replacement convertible comes along? http://www.nissan.co.uk/#vehicles/sports-cars/range
  15. My first impression was don't like this. But must say it's growing on me the more I visit
  16. Are they easy to fit? If so looks like something subtle I may consider for mine

    How Old??

I remember when I was a lad, you had to save for 20 years to afford one of these cars.....and that's why i got mine when I was 41 you well-heeled lot
  18. Just found this . Got my old car on the drive so no Zed to show off
  19. Cheers, will try and get an extra pouch for a bit of extra protection
  20. Has anybody used this for long term storage of their shades? Just got myself some prescription glasses and didn't want to risk marking the lenses if others have experienced similar. Cheers
  21. Is it possible to 'Bluetooth' the aerial output? Would not have thought network reception strength could be connected to the phone that way. My phone only connects up to 'headset device', so only transferring the speaker and mic signals over the blue tooth connection.
  22. I have a few nice A road routes that I take on the way back from work. Noticed they all now have 50mph sections on them. Didn't think it had progressed so far as to end up reducing the national speed limit . One particular section, between Nuneaton and Meriden, was reduced just a few months ago. Last week a smash in the usual place. So that made all the difference . I'm sure the majority of these accidents are caused by new and/or poor drivers but hey, let's just penalise everyone. Do they have an 'acceptable' figure for road deaths that they're aiming for? If they're after zero then, as previously mentioned, the speed limit will have to match. It seems that the days of enjoying a nice drive are limited. Glad I have my Z now as in a few years it will probably be pretty pointless owning such a motor

    Tyre mileages?

Same year here and just passed 10k. Although only owned car for the last 5k, tyres seem to be showing similar wear to yours though the minimum is over 3mm on the outside edges of mine
