hi and welcome, that car has neither leather or bose, and not sure I like the wheels but that's personal choice. There's plenty around to look at though, and loads of info on the forum to help you decide what you want

I was working in Oz at the time, my dad got it replaced for me and didn't spot it. Its annoying, but its not like there aren't half a million stone chips over the bonnet, bumper, doors, and roof already

thats shocking... when my screen got replaced they must have levered it out using the bonnet as support as there was a section of paint about 5mm long missing from the rear edge of the bonnet (down to the metal!)

The commentator blamed the Z, the Corsa driver blamed the Z and the Z driver blamed himself both verbally and by using the universal "i'm sorry" gesture in car. What more do you want FFS? He outbraked himself going in to the last corner. I'm sure you could have driven it a lot better though. This corner is quite a commitment and he just got it a fraction of a second wrong. i don't know what my driving ability has to do with this? Yes the 370 got it wrong but was along side anyway, if he'd got the braking right the corsa would have had to back off or go in to the side of the 370. I said the 370 driver didn't look that hot, and I'm not standing up for him, but I don't see that the corsa needed to turn in when there was obviously a car there! if the 370 has outbraked himself, let him go off the track and take himself out the race.

I think it was the corsas fault, he was behind and didnt have to turn in to hit the 370. Not impressed by the way the Z was being driven though, looked like he was out for a sunday drive and could have carried more speed through the corners

no you would just hear a screeching noise, the tab is just a bit of metal that sticks out of the backing plate of the brake pad. I dont think all pads have them, but they're either part of the pad or not, you can't change them over. There is no electrical connection.

I didn't know they had wear sensors, just the 'tag' that rubs on the disc when the pads are low?

I'm thinking about getting a shed too, quite fancy something big like an old volvo estate so I can drive around with it full of stuff and people....

This type of gauge really annoys me... I want my fuel gauge to show how much is physically left in the tank, its absolutely pointless for the gauge to show an increase in fuel level in the tank if I drive more economically - that's what the trip computer is for!

I took my car for an MOT last week, I noticed the LEDs (above) that I'd put in had disintegrated! Either the temperature of the xenons or the vibration whilst driving (or combination of both) had caused over half the LEDs (yellow circles) to fall off, now they're loose in the headlamp unit they still look better than the normal sidelight bulbs but now need to sort them asap before they die altogether Anyone had any similar problems?

I'd never noticed that... could the drivers seat be a little more worn? only difference I noticed was that the passenger almost sits on the floor!

I've stopped in that hotel a few times. The Grand is better now than it used to be, after getting a refurb. Hartlepool can be an interesting place...

I don't know whats going on with insurance companies either... last year my renewal cost £672 through greenlight (and that was an increase on the year before), this year its quoted as £897 !! and the excess has been put up from £300 to £450!! I'm 31, 9 years protected ncb, my last points were in april '06, and the only thing different is I've had a windscreen replaced recently. I can't understand why I'm more of a risk now?

Just returned from 5 weeks working in Australia, and went for a blast in the Zed Much better than the gutless toyota camry I had over there! only problem was I'd got used the the indicator stalk being on the wrong side its been sat in the garage all the time, it got started twice only during that time to move it out tha garage (got the windscreen replaced), but not driven at all. Was impressed it started straight away! good ol' Zed

I've noticed the prices goes up even too, a couple of reg's I was considering went up in price from what I thought was a bit expensive anyway to start with!

I'm not normally a fan of adding carbon-looking bits to a car, but this does look quite good, would cover up the scratches, and reduce the reflections in the rear window

I would do something like that if it wasn't going to be tucked up in the garage

just a bit of a rant really got my first stone chip on the windscreen on the way to work yesterday, its right at the bottom on the driver's side so I thought a repair job would be fine.... came out of work and theres a huge crack appeared from the chip! so thats my windscreen excess gone, and to make matters worse I'm off to Oz for about a month on Monday so it'll prob have to wait til then to sort it... grrr
