  1. Sounds like a road trip is needed... quick question... what sort of cost am I looking at for the 'corrective surgery'?? Spent loads on the 350 since I bought it a couple of months ago... and still got a list as long as my arm to go... and a trip over to you may force my wallet for a few "extras" lol
  2. He'd have been better signing it Eric Shun! Least it sounds a bit more Japanies  We get others like an offer to send us $100,000 for a Vauxhall Vectra because they can't get that colour at the moment! They will send half the money now and the rest when the car is loaded in the container.... I love replying with my thank you offers and where they can place them!
  3. (in the imortal words of a shell track suit wearing fool) PHIL - Can you fix it for me!!!??? They used the latest 4 wheel laser adjustment system but just couldn't get it sorted... I would drive to ESR right now however I live in Norwich - Norfolk and we have only just invented single carrigways and getting anywhere here requires lots of time and a tractor!!
  4. Quick question. I just had my wheels aligned and they told me that they can't change the caster or camber on the 350Z... is this true? if so how on earth are we meant to get it back into the stated variance margins? Secondly, they advised me they couldn't get the toe in on the rear right as its had a knock at somepoint (previous driver failed to mention that one!!!!!!!) said it could be tiny kink in any part of the arm/suspension etc and that would be tough to find out which bit to replace... is this the case? Fancy having a nice chat with the ex owner
  5. 350Z ROCKS!!!! On a serious note, I run a company car fleet and all notes on here are very good, however if the vehicle is purchased on PCP scheme etc it is not taxed like an actual company car. 10k for first 40p, 25p thereafter... although some companys offer less and you have to prove and claim the additional back yourself from the tax man! I would have to say if it were my call... for the kind of mileage your planning to do etc I would be more inclined to go for a Diesel Merc SLK add a few AMG bits to make it look a bit less haridressery and you have a nice looking motor for similar cudos plus a much improved MPG!
  6. I am current composing a letter seeking compensation for "embarrassing driver situations" - however the only address for the complaints dept I can find is the same one that seems to be listed for British Gas!!! Complaints Dept. 1 Snowly Lane, Lapland, The North Pole, Earth, NO1 3RE
  7. That is awesome!!! I want those reflector replacing blue leds... wicked idea and looks even better!
  8. It goes like this, everytime I put my foot down today I get a strange clunk when I change gear.... but doesn't happen when changing at low revs.... So thought I would check the engine... nothing... the wheels... nothing... the exhaust possibly... nope nothing... under the drivers seat a glass bottle I left yesterday.... So next time you have a little noise... just check under your seat first lmao

    why?

50 sounds pretty good to me... All though a small £5 donation to the site for anyone with less could then be imposed too.....
  10. I don't do much in mine as I use my company cars - pick up my new Astra sporthatch, 1.6 turbo full XP kit - today for the next couple of months. I don't mind filling the Z'd up although my account does... but everytime you drive it and the looks you get, every single penny is worth!
  11. Just wondered who's going and what times they are thinking of arriving???
  12. I love the black tape over the Z on the steering wheel..... I just can't tell what kinda car it is anymore Was hoping they'd changed the air vents in the door, as mine seems to shut all the time! Although I quite like the rest of the door card! Wonder if it will fill with water just as quick as the current one when the windows open Do you think the lights are designed to be stuck together to form a "Z" shape
  13. Best thing about these is if you get stuck behind a slow car (read OAP, LEANERS)you car overtake them at any speed you dam like past a school, over a child and as long as your average is below the limit your good! These do not save lives in every situation and should be only used where COMPLETELY justifiable! I think cameras like these should be kept to a motorway and set to a sensible limits based on conditions and traffic flows! Such as 90mph when clear, good condition road and reduce accordingly to say 50mph as traffic builds, light fades etc! Or like you say, why not chase the muppets who flout the laws completely and cost us even more money! Worst thing about all of this is... same story over and over and over and nothing gets done about it! Time to start a revolution!!
  14. It would be great if they got the emissions down tho, stick it in a nicer VED band! Although the only main advantage of it being expensive to run is that it puts people off and keeps them a little more rare! I would be gutted if when launched with a bigger lump the same power and torque unless its got a few cheeky tricks up its sleave! Thinking launch control, more advanced slip diff, GT-R gearbox, improved gear ratio, hmm... list goes on!
  15. Is it me or did the driver park VERY close to the curb! I'd be about 10 foot away from everything if I had one!
  16. I'd swap mines in for it!!!! I think its got a Z4 Coupe + TVR 350 rear look! Loving the more aggresive sort of touch to it... although that really will come down to the launch model... taking the 3.7 lump in mind... what do we think the break is likely to be and does anyone think the new skyline transmission maybe applied??
  17. £1200 for the kit, £2400 on flowers???
  18. very true...... it was a car that never really tried to kill you what did you have? mine was a Prodrive WRX 270bhp and used to stick to the road like a sticky thing covered in extra sticky stuff on a sticky day. Not palyed too much with the traction control button on the ZED yet, gonna get used to driving it.........then have a dabble. I had a 99 UK Spec with prodrive kit added, plus lowered, lightened flysheel, clutch, uprated injectors, fuel pump, chipped, direct flow air flow, and straight through zorst system, but only managed to run high 13's low 14's on the strip, think it needed remapping but it was so much fun around the back roads. Only thing I wasn't greatly impressed with was lag and the brakes even after the upgrading! Trust me PUSH that button, just not when its really really wet and greasy or you WILL park it in a tree or roundabout! although you will have loads of fun doing it
  19. I use mines but at the same time it would look better without it.... hmm... what to do what to do.... although removal improves power to weight ratio plus reduced drag.... right wheres that socket set!
  20. I am not giving him much spare time Parts catalogue is a little bare... have you bought EVERYTHING he has in stock?????
  21. You need to get out more
  22. You would sell your liver, wife, small child, dog and gran for this!
  23. OMG! Serisouly, how could anyone even consider passing this off as work... there is not enough words... thats why CHEAP is not always a good idea!!!
  24. We like to call them "Spats"... They look ok from the side and stuck on and cheap from the rear... if you want a custom rear buy a whole bumper
