  1. *BUMP* - I'll take £100 collected for this if anyone wants it? It just needs some autosol and a decent fitter. Bargain exhaust for anyone who wants some volume
  2. *BUMP* - still for sale - open to offers !
  3. Stunning alloys ! If these dont sell sharpish then there is someting wrong with this world !
  4. Ni$$an in Nottingham wanted over 400 quid for my P3..... i ended up taking it to Horsham Developments near Oxford. For less than 400 quid i got a full P3 service, four-wheel laser alignment and supply/fitting of some TEIN springs. And a nice pootle up and down the A34 In most people's experience Ni$$an prices are all over the shop

Great event! Massive thanks to Martinmac for organising the event.....i also know where he drinks as his 'local' after driving past him when we were leaving Holker House in the afternoon Here are a few pics - i will try and get more up later in the week, got a lot of them
  6. First off, massive thanks to CS, Tarmac and Zman for their recent assistance. Y pipe started to blow...literally a day after i sold the old oem pipe. After a few days the blowing was, erm, more of a roaring Tarmac sorted me a Stillen Y pipe really quickly from the US (and at a great price), and helped to get it thru customs when it got stuck CS got back to me asap via PM even though he couldn't help with my gaskets request - top fella! Zman got back to me nearly as quickly as CS and was able to ship gaskets and bolts next day The Stillen has been fitted for about a day now. Coupled with the oem centre and Greddy Elite backbox it sounds....awesome! The noise is deeper now than it was with the older Y pipe, but still only manifests itself when you use the loud pedal. Off throttle and town pootling its still nice and reserved. All-in-all a successful week! The car passed her MOT after Nissan fitted the Stillen too, so that was a nice bonus! Vids of the exhaust system will be sorted soon, once the Stillen has coked up a little Lakez - here she comes!
  7. Bump - still for sale. Open to offers. Would prefer collection (M1, J26 - only 5 mins from there)
  8. SOLD MODS please lock this thread. Many thanks.
  9. Ironically my ESR Y pipe is blowing badly (its done 40k with previous owner so its lasted well). Annoyingly this means i may be about to spend more money on the exhaust on the car doh! Greddy Spectrum fitted last month (supplied by Tarmac). Really liking it. Quiet when cruising, but on WOT its nice and aggressive. I suspect a Stillen Y pipe might be in order now....PM sent
  10. *bump* still for sale. Open to offers. Im really close to J26 of the M1 so pickup is dead easy!
  11. ^^^^^ You do NOT want this N1 exhaust mate. It's the second-loudest exhaust available for the Zed, behind the (slightly) louder K1 version which doesnt have the fatter centre pipe for *some* sound deadening. Compared to 'standard' it will blow your ears off, even with the bungs in. Its an exhaust for drivers who dont mind the extra noise. When cruising its seemed ok to me, no real boom or resonance noise. But when you put your foot down the car you are overtaking KNOWS YOU ARE OVERTAKING if you get my picture With the bungs in its a gloriuos noise, but too loud for me. Others love it! With the bungs OUT it's utterly bonkers and sounds VERY loud on wide open throttle. I now have a new Greddy back box fitted which is perfectly docile when pootling/idling, but has a nice deep rasp when you blip the throttle. When driving in lower gears and flooring it, it howls nicely! I do miss the extreme noise of the bunged up N1, but only on those few occasions when i go thru a tunnel or under a bridge. 99% of the time, the new Greddy wins hands down
  12. These were fitted just before the Wales weekend. The Brembo front discs came with the car (not fitted), i bought the EBC discs from CS. Ferodo DS2500 pads have gone on too. I think the old discs were the originals looking at the state of them compared to new Old pads were a bit shagged also. Braking feels firmer and more sure footed now. Seems like a decent setup for standard size discs/pads. As ever, cheers to Big Dude Engineering for fitting all the bits!
  13. I reckon Lydia and me can meet you locally Rothers. Stick my name down!
  14. I've attacked one of the rear cans with Autosol metal polish - comes up lovley! Also, the 'maracca' noise is really quiet and wont be an audible issue when fitted. (Can barely be heard when aggressively shaking the rear can in your hands). Centre pipe and rear pipes behind the cans will also polish up nicely - might be easier with an orbital polisher tho, less elbow grease required Any takers? Any offers?
  15. "womblingfree" was the first to PM me - he is checking with Nissan to see if this will fit a DE engined car. George Dredd - has next dibs *if* he is interested. SteveM is a possible buyer if i can't get this sold as collected.
  16. ***SOLD*** to nzr350z (Steve). MODS - please lock this thread.
  17. Yep - happy to take 140 quid if you want it. Make sure it will fit first tho (i think they are a generic fit, DE/HR). Confirm if you are 100% and i will try to give it a clean with soap and water so it doesnt dirty your Zed boot
  18. I think it does mate - best to check with a place like Abbey MotorSport or maybe check on this forum? I have a feeling it will, but im not 100% certain sadly! Im sure a more knowledgeable person will pop a post up confirming one way or the other
  19. Came off my car recently. It is in need of a good polish with some autosol. Rear cans will also probably need some alternate exhaust hangers, or a good fitter (slight knock when on my car due to fitment). Exhaust includes rear can sections, rear splitter pipe, and centre pipe. Both rear cans have a light 'maraca' sort of shake noise to them - i think the interior honeycomb structure may have begun to rot due to age. Other than this, it's in good condition and really just needs a tidy up and a decent fitter to make it right. Includes bungs. Looking for £150 or good offer due to condition - preferably collected (J26 M1) On car pic below:
  20. The better flowing HR engine OEM Y pipe. Look how fresh it looks, almost no mileage. Swapped for an Invidia N1 by the previous owner when purchased from new so almost no mileage! Looking for £100 or good offer, preferrably collection (M1 J26)
  21. Exhaust has done almost no miles at all - just needs a clean. Former owner swapped it for an Invidia N1 after a few weeks of ownership. Im looking for £150 collected, or a good offer. I believe these are better than the standard OEM backbox that the DE engine cars came with. I am NOT certain that this will fit a DE engine car, but i assume it will (please check if interested and you run the DE engine car)
  22. Awesome! And even in daylight the xenons dazzle when they flash !
  23. Here's some of (mainly Lydia's) pics: P.S. - cracking weekend! Many thanks to all those involved in making it happen. Roll on wales part 2, 2011
  24. Stick me down! I think the car has at least two dents, one on the ruddy roof!!!
  25. The annoying thing is that i *have* under-oiled them according to K&N (by about 1/4 of the recommended amount per cone). To my eyes they look well oiled now, so i have refitted them. Surely an over-oil will just result in a messy "Stillen" intake box, and maybe a little oil being sucked thru to the MAFs requiring a clean in a few months? Don't the MAF's have an auto clean anyway where they burn-off residue periodically? Isn't under-oiling (thus not filtering properly) a greater risk than over-oiling?
