Not sure drifting is a good way of finding out....

Shouldnt be - slotted discs and Noble have actually checked the runout and the hubs for any deformation or signs of anythign else that could cause upset. I paid extra to have runout checked on fitting and everything cleaned up properly to prevent this from happening.... or so i thought. I just need to make the decision as to do I send em back and ask the garage nicely to sit on the car for a couple of weeks or just get them re-faced leave the car there and send the discs off, that's what I would do. my guess is that the warranty will be voided if you re-face them? If the garage want it sitting there that is... it shouldn't be a couple of weeks surely? Or do they go off to Aussie land? Will be watching this closely since I was thinking on getting dba's all four corners for my next swap...

what does the pads look like? you sure these aren't just glazed?

dba4000xs iirc, Cosworth SM pads and no trackdays or such. Im a pretty sensible driver mostly. CS have been in touch with dba and they would like to see them but it will mean being zed-less for a while. And if it turns out fitting was shoddy ill still be forking out for disks. who fitted them? no trackdays and sensible driving warping discs

Did you drive these hard? What pads did you use? What model of dba's? lucky that you can get it sorted for 35£

Track spec? Aftermarket then maybe? Stick one tyre on gravel and other on tarmac? Dont know since its vlsd that sticking it on stands would work. Burnout?

Yeah if its a base one. Its not clear from most things people tell you. Best bet is to test it......

brings back memories when i was told that I had a non-vlsd diff... turned out I had a VLSD afterall even though I did not have the fins on the case. Best way to test it is actually to test it! (or open it) I found out the hardway by opening the diff and see that my new LSD wouldn't fit
