Well picked up my long awaited Z at the weekend!! Bagged myself a 54 plate uk gt black one with 53k, full history, alezan leather, rays, birdview satnav, reverse sensors etc etc..... VERY pleased with it, car is almost mint condition bar the odd stonechip. In need of a P2 service and some front pads but the guy was very good on the price. He lost nearly 5k in 5 months - poor bloke!! Only pics I have of it are below at the moment, hopefully weather will be nice this weekend so will get the polish out and give it a clean!! First mods though will be the usual stubby aerial and perhaps a nismo style carbon spoiler for the rear (still undecided!!). Chris

As above I have had a friend / customer contact me asking anyone who can do me a website fairly quickly. He only wants about a 5 page site doing with some pictures (he can supply), his logo (I can supply) and email link, what he does etc etc.... Nothing fancy, no flash, just professional looking. He only wants to spend around £200 (cash of course!!) He would like it fairly soonish, but have advised its not as simple as it looks (ie - completed within 4 weeks or so) so if anyone can help me then let me know. Cheers Chris

well having spoke to the guy tonight he says that the service book says P1, P2, P3, P1 (picture was really blurry so thought it was a P1). Hopefully he has paperwork to back this up and not just changed the 1 to a 3!!!

I used to get the same noise on my celica gt4 and evo7, i found that copper slip between the shim and the back of the pads sorted this out. HTH Chris

Managed to sell my Boxster S a couple of weeks ago and on the lookout for a 350Z (or f150 truck - sorry!!). I've got my eye on a 54 plate 350z (uk gt) with 52k on the clock, all looks nice in the pics, nice spec etc etc. Been mailing the guy who has been very helpful with my questions etc etc. Now I dont think he's an 'enthusiast' as such as he wasnt really up with the service schedules etc. This is where I have a query!! He has sent me a picture of his service book and it says the following in the following order: 9064 - Nissan Main Dealer - P1 18572 - Nissan Main Dealer - P2 31470 - Nissan Main Dealer - P1 40059 - Normal Garage - P1 Mileage has now just 52k and he is aware it needs a service so is willing to adjust price accordingly, however no P3 has ever been undertaken (should be 36k?). Now I've heard that the P2 and P3 are almost identical so would having a service log like this put you off buying the car? If i were to buy it i'd get a service done (P2 or P3) straight away. If it were me I wouldve done the P3 at the 40k mark? I think he bought it from a garage and I reckon that they did a basic P1/oil as they would do with all their stock? Any thoughts?! Cheers Chris

Not had the Porsche long but for a number of reasons i have decided to put it back up for sale. Primarily because driving it triggers my back pains (again) so not nice, plus the missus won't drive it!!!! Porsche Boxster 3.2S Metallic Basalt Black 6 Speed manual November 1999 ( V plate) Long MOT (cannot remember when due but if close will put 12 months on) Full Porsche Service History bar a couple of Porsche specialist stamps 66000 miles Full grey heated electric leather (no scuffs / burns etc) Becker Stereo (6 cd) Full built in Sat Nav Air Conditioning with climate Control Car phone with Bluetooth etc (never used but does work as I was shown when I bought it!!) Electric windows / mirrors Immaculate black hood and clear rear window. Hood was replaced 2 years ago so as new Factory front Litronic (Xenon) front lights with washer jets built into the clear lights 2003 spec rear lights ( I fitted these when I bought the car and do still have the standard ones) Brakes and tyres were replaced within the last 3000 miles Central Locking Factory fit CAT1 remote alarm Tracker Since owning the car not one thing has gone wrong, it starts on the button, I always let it warm up before driving and take great care in where I park it etc etc. Car has no dings or dents. I get around 29 / 30mpg on long runs and around 24 / 25mpg on short runs. It gets washed regularly and have recently had it detailed by a friend of mine (using Jeffs Workstat products?!). Car is a little dirty in the pics as I it could do with another wash, but will update the pics when the freezing weather goes by. The only bad bits I can honestly say about the car are that a few small patches on the wheels have started to erode a little (not that bad but worth mentioning), and there are a few very light scratches around the car (baring in mind its 9 years old and metallic black!!). I did look at dozens of Boxsters before I found this one!! Its HPI clear and I owe no finance on the car. I’m after 10k for the car. I may part ex for a clean 350Z (UK one).
