  1. Indeed im happy to give a bit of brightness up for that look!!!! Might post a thread on my350z.com
  2. Now that would be smart, any more info on it? As said earlier up as they are projector lights I dont think they need the reflector bits?
  3. has anyone on here attempted this yet? Seen a few posts on my350z.com and quite fancy giving it a go. Not too worried about baking the lights to get the lense off, but concerned about what bits to paint and what not to paint! Done a quick search on here and found nothing! Also matt or gloss black?! Anyone got any decent pics?
  4. I was going to leave it on until Le Mans in June as last time I went (in my DC5) my front bumper got littered with stone chips sitting on the backend of me mates rarri!! Will be coming off next weekend though for sure! Sketch - defo right mate, coilovers are next on the list and decided to buy new wheels rather than spacers.
  5. Well 99% done and i'm stopping there!! Just the one mirror left but to be honest its not doing it for me so once i've had some pro pics done for my website and advertising it'll be all coming off!!! Seems a waste of money I know but its been good practice and a very good learning curve. Will be keeping the roof on and the lower front bumper middle bit but thats it!! Loads of pics here I took at the weekend! Chris
  6. Im definitely a fan!! Zero offset for me soon!!
  7. That looks like the printed vinyl sheeting mate, if you dont get on with it I have oodles of the proper 3M di-noc vinyl that i've wrapped my car in if you want a piece.
  8. Chris - I got a quote for shipping via USPS for $199 per 2 wheels, so 2 seperate parcels = $400, plus the $1060 so indeed $1460. I know of someone else who may be interested in a set so thats 3 sets. I'd need to wait a month or 2 though to sort monies out as dont want to put them on credit card!
  9. Just got a price from the chap in the states and works out that shipping to Florida it comes to $1060, around £659. Once the exchange rate gets better (predicting after the election) then they will be even cheaper! Far far cheaper than the real deal ones but also a fair bit heavier, which to be honest not bothered about! I've calculated shipping from Florida to UK for them and it works out at $400, so $1460, just need to find £600 for tyres!!!!
  10. I dont think zero offset is available on them mate. Chris
  11. As above came with my car but never fitted it and probably never will!! Comes with lots of fittings and the Nissan instruction book for it. As new condition, presume its all there as i've never tried fitting! Same price as the others on here that have sold already - £75 plus postage. Chris
  12. Excelllent to hear that mate, wasnt sure on the actual cost of them but worked out shipping would've been around $400ish if I organised it myself via a mate house in Florida and USPS. Is he on my350z.com as well? $1050 sounds wicked!! Will be going for zero offset though!!
  13. Just seen these replica Volks on my350z.com and wondered if there were any suppliers in the UK that have these? Think they look awesome!! http://my350z.com/forum/wheels-and-tire ... -19-a.html IMO this Z looks perfect in every way! Chris
  14. Very true, i'm flying to the states in a couple of weeks so will order a set prior and chuck em in me suitcase!! Been quoted $300 for a pair of 30mm's and a pair of 25mm's! Chris
  15. As said a few pages back i'm still not 100% sure if I like it and will be happy with it. Everyone that has seen it in the flesh says it looks superb, and people have even been stopping in the street taking pics! Not interested in bodykits etc but reckon a nice set of wheels and slammed it would look better. Perhaps 30mm spacers on the rear and 25mm at the front with a set of coilovers of eibach springs will help. Still a big part of me is thinking to rip it off and go white with carbon roof! Or maybe even a deep glossy orange and black combo! Would be far far cheaper to do! What ya reckon?! malibu-stacey - its the 3M DiNoc stuff i'm using. Got loads left on the roll if anyone is interested in buying any. Chris
  16. Well nearly finished now, front bumper is now done, just the mirror to do and a couple of panels to redo!
  17. Probably fairly easy to do mate but you have the issue with heat from the bulbs shrinking / melting the vinyl.
  18. rtbiscuit - thats how i did it this time but due to it being carbon vinyl, and me being a fussy fooker in keeping the weaves straight its not possible this way. Any normal colour would be fine I reckon. Not going to risk doing the same again so would rather take the lot off. Harman350Z - pics in the styling forum mate! Done the front bumper now though which laid on perfectly so will get some new pics later. Personally not in love with the vinyl yet, toying with ripping all off and going for a deep orange / black combo!! Chris
  19. Excellent cheers for the pics, looks like i'll have to strip out half the boot liner to get to it! Allesandro - will be going back in mate, just taking it off so I can rewrap the rear quarter (carbon wrapping) Chris
  20. Does anyone know how to remove the bottom part of the aerial? I presume its from inside the bootlid? Chris
  21. Definitely true mate although that will be a way down the line, the missus nearly collapsed when she realised how much the vinyl cost!!!! I think i'll settle for some spacers me thinks!
  22. I know mate keep meaning to get them done but not enough hours in the day!! Its far too loud with them out!! Time wise I havent a clue, a fair few hours!! 350Ash - It has crossed my mind but not sure. Im may wrap the spokes / centre and see what it looks like / how long it lasts!!
