How much do you pay on insurance??
CK@Chris Knott Insurance replied to chrisjones6699's topic in Insurance
No, it's untrue. We can still give you an equivalent introductory discount on your second car - similar to what is on your first - if you are 25+ and had no claims, etc. I've just checked with the team and none of them remember a call like this. Was it us that you rang?! -

Please don't forget to try the 350Z insurance scheme when your renewal is due! -
One issue that has arisen is that a few people are saying we haven't called them back. I can assure you we call everyone back without fail! The only reason we don't manage to speak to people is because either they have gone out, the wrong number has been taken down or, as has been said quite often recently, people don't answer numbers they don't know (& we have numerous telephone numbers) - I even had someone say that to me yesterday! Our stats show that we only manage to contact 2 out of 10 people on average! It’s frustrating for us as well! Please feel free to try us again as we would have tried you the same day. (Mondays & Fridays are our most busiest however!). (I covered for a colleague recently and was given a list of 4 people to ring back for a quote. None responded so, of the 4, I left messages on 2 answer phones, whilst 1 phone just rang & rang & the other was engaged consistently for hours. I checked a week later and at least 3 had not rung us back - I didn't have enough details to check the fourth). So, if you haven't heard from us within 2 hours, please ring us back!

Hot off the press! In 2009 so far, we have saved our new customers a recorded average of £60 (£60.10 to be exact!) off their BEST quote, not just their renewal price, but their BEST quote! In fact, so successful is the scheme that we have taken on additional staff & next week we have a meeting to look at taking on further personnel! So, if your insurance is due in the next few weeks, please give us a call freephone on 0800 917 2274 (or 01580 752961 if calling by mobile) and don't forget to state the club reference number found either in my signature or in my introductory post when we first set up the scheme. Insurers find that club/forum users are better 'risks' statistically so make sure you mention the club! Don't forget to check the criteria you must adhere to, e.g. age, etc.

Just a quick note to thank those of you who have tried the club insurance scheme. In March, we have recorded our best ever week for club 'business' - nearly double that of our previous record set in February, which was remarkable in itself! I had to recheck the figures myself! This is all due to the fact that people on sites like this have rung us & taken out policies. We must be doing something right! Just to let you know our opening hours are Monday to Friday, 9am till 5pm & Saturday morning, 9am till noon. (Please don't forget to quote the club scheme reference number when you ring for a quote).

The insurers have increased the minimum age to 25 for our insurance scheme due to a high claims loss ratio for performance vehicles driven by the under 25's. You also must have at least 1 year's NCB (unless you have NCB on a second car or a company car letter to state at least 1 year's claim free driving). We understand that not everyone has claimed in this age category but the insurers are 'playing safe' for future business.

If you want to insure a performance car but have no experience of driving that or similar, unfortunately not. How often do you have to drive the car in the first year to be experienced? My missus drives the Zed and hopefully going to insure us both through you next time around, but she doesnt drive my Zed as the main driver. Shes a cracking driver and the fact I let her drive it shows I trust her too. I've had my Zed for about 2yrs now and shes driven it for about 18months, maybe more. Think you'll be OK.

A GOOD REASON TO PHONE US IF YOUR RENEWAL IS DUE IN MARCH! March is generally one of the busiest months of the year for car insurance. There are a few reasons for this - Firstly, the new car registrations come out so plenty of new cars to insure. Secondly, this means that people who buy new cars, sell their existing ones which are then bought & insurance is needed for them. Thirdly, a major insurance company went bust in the early 1970's in March which left a lot of people without insurance meaning they had to get new policies immediately. There were long queues outside brokers with people waiting to get covered! This means that many of the affected, older generation still have March renewal dates! And on a totally personal level, we have just had our record week since we instigated these forum insurance schemes so we must be doing something right! Therefore, if your renewal is due in March, please feel free to give us a call and don't forget to mention the club scheme reference number found in my signature below or in my initial post which started this thread. 0800 917 2274 or 01580 752961 if calling by mobile.
