    My first.....

Looks like you had a brilliant day, I'm a touch on the jealous side! Would you be able to do this on a standard UK GT Zed or will certain things need upgrading first like the brakes?
  2. There was an advert for the XF in the paper at the weekend. I had to read it twice to make sure I wasn't misreading the figures. They are pretty impressive and I maybe able to afford one when I come around to "settling down".......... in 10 years time They don't look too bad either, although I have always had a soft spot for Jags. Was toying with the idea of getting an XK until the Zed popped into my head.

    Fifth Gear

I was a touch disappointed with the review, but was very happy to hear that they still love the 350z. If anything I think the 350 came out better from that review then the 370! As the gf was watching 5th gear with me last night, she has already said that if I win it she is going to sell it, buy a new shape TT for herself and use any change towards the wedding next year. Thats me told!
  4. Finally went to go and see the film on saturday. Its the only film that has made me laugh all the way through, all through the credits and in the car on the way home too! Definitely one to buy on DVD as soon as it gets released. If you haven't seen it, I'd highly recommend it!
  5. Excellent job there Spen. Thats one clean Zed!
  6. Hello and to the forum. I love the look of Kuro Zeds, very
  7. Beavis, I'm surprised you haven't said it "needs spacers and lowered" They are meant to be much nicer in the flesh then they are in pics, but the 350 looks nice in the flesh AND pics. I'm hoping the 370 will grow on people, otherwise Nissan are in trouble.

    Picked it up!!

Hi Jak and welcome to the club. Congratulations on picking up your Zed. I don't know about you but it took me a bit of time to get used to it and I still haven't lost the massive grin when I drive it..........7 months later!!! There are plenty of people on here that have spare badges. JDM performance sell them I think or you could try this posting Looking forward to the pics
  9. Sounds very interesting. Judging by the reaction to this thread, you'd have a queue of people lining up to get one
  10. I love sports. Usually have too many on the go at once, but it keeps me out of trouble! Play rugby and have done for 18 years, snowboarding, squash, gym, running, mountain biking (doing my 2nd coast to coast ride this summer), gaming and computing (making and breaking them) although I don't get much time to do this anymore.
  11. I only remembered because I posted about having the window open whilst using the window washers. The water gets wiped off the windscreen and ends up down the inside of the drivers door I think I'm a few years (and a few thousand posts!) off that yet
  12. Sorry guys, already been done.....viewtopic.php?f=9&t=15994 I feel like Martinmac now
  13. God I know how hard it is finding one space for a Zed, imagine how bad it will be finding spaces for all of you! Good luck. Cheers fort he heads up on the film, it was definately on my list of must see this summer so I'm happy I'm not going to be disappointed. Is that one of those Cineworld cards? Me and the gf both have them, definitely worth their weight in gold, especially with all the blockbusters coming out this summer.
  14. Would something like the paints4u website not be any good for you? From what I've read on Detailing World, they are meant to be pretty good.
  15. I quite liked this film, thought the action scenes were very good. The storyline slotted in quite well with the other films. As mentioned, T3 will just be ignored. ** Spolier Alert ** Did anyone else have a deja-vu of the Matrix scene where they first see the machines city, up over the hill? Also, how sterile was a heart transplant operation in the middle of the dessert? ** Spoiler over **
  16. I've got an irrational hatred of Micras, but it is nice of Nissan to make it easy to identify really bad drivers just by the car they are driving. If you ask me, Nissan have done the driving community a service! I'm looking into one of them for the other half and was shocked when I found out they did it in Diesel! Whats the world coming to?!
  17. I had a massive accident and adjusted my course at the beginning to get a 7 knot advantage over the auto pilot. Promptly forgot about it and was half way to Amreica when I came back a few hours later! Current ranking: 215071 That'll teach me to give the car a good going over before tomorrows North East meet, and going to my parents for tea!
  18. Missed this reply as I was typing my own, so only just seen it. Minesweeping with a hammmer absolutly brilliant!
  19. Ming, you have hit the nail on the head there. In effect we are paying for a 'workforce' that are doing nothing. Why not make them earn a bit of that 'pay' that they get. The people who I feel sorry for are those on the dole that want to work, and are trying to get a job. Obviously you will have more experience with the actual percentage of people that fall into that category, care to hazard a guess? With all this 'disruption' going on in the parliament at the moment, I hereby put forward a motion that Ming runs in the next elections. I vote for Ming the Politician!
  20. to the forum. I love the effects on the first pic Lovely looking Zed you have there.
  21. Absolutly brilliant! Had me in tears for about 5 minutes. I've obviously got the mind of a child, but its exactly the kind of thing I'd have done with my mates
  22. I've not had a problem with the comfort of the Zed. As mentioned you can adjust 3 points on it so there will be a setting in there somewhere for you. I picked mine up from Stafford and had a 3 hour drive home, got out feeling great. It wasn't like that when I used to drive my Vectra!
  23. Just wondering if anyone else has had their V1 fitted using only two bolts? Is this the most common way of fitting them and is it still stable over time?
  24. Just want to add, that a couple of those cars you have looked at have been called a GT pack, but aren't. I'm basing that on the assumption that all GT packs have 6 buttons on the steering wheel (Cruise control and Phone control) as well as the upgraded Bose system. Is that correct or am I getting confused?
  25. Stunning finish on the Renault. Black is the best colour when kept spotless, love the reflections!
