I guess what I was asking was what do the sensors really measure, ACTUAL emissions levels of O2 ?
( i suspect they measure heat only and the ECU infers what the AFR/ other bits is from this data.)
Hi mate,
I wanted to know why spacers were necessary for O2 sensors. It seems many things (Zorsts, cats, turbo's) can knock the sensors into giving a CEL, and why spacers work therefore.
An interesting observation is that I normally end up losing / (getting broke) Trim fasteners whenever the car goes in for anything to be done.
My little trip down to Abbey the other weekend for somehting electrical saw all of them replaced with brand new Nissan ones. (without me asking)
