  1. People don't understand car detailing. Most folk think putting the car through the £3.50 car wash is a real treat for the car. It's nothing I'd worry about.
  2. Feel free to add any part numbers in here.
  3. I posted a thread with how to videos on stuff like claying, washing etc. Meguiars channel on youtube is actually very good for how tos.
  4. If the info is posted then I'll happily sticky it.
  5. ZMANALEX does this service. As he's just up the road you might even be able to rope in to fitting them as part of a deal!
  6. Talk about a man with many projects! If you need rid of the very old Zed I can come and pick it up anytime!
  7. What about Rage buggy paintball...........with real guns............ My mate has a clay pigeon pull on the farm..... He also has a buggy (although it's slow) so you could be closer than you think with that! I used to live in Russia so don't have the same 'need' to go to Eastern Europe as many others. I've been and done a lot there. Any other race tracks that do something like on / off road driving? I looked at MSV site and they have some decent corporate packages but none have prices. I'm thinking I could persuade my Dad to put it through his company as 'entertainment' along with the lap dancing bar bill.
  8. Lots of good ideas! I'll be busy checking them out. I have a goape about 4 miles from my house long with a paintball range, quad biking etc etc. I even have Rage buggies on my doorstep! It would be a total laugh setting up something at the farm...... Buy a couple of cars and do some kind of auto testing or something.
  9. I know, lets all not buy fuel from BP on a tuesday. Man, that'll hurt them! The profits are not from selling petrol to people. In fact I'm not sure if BP even own any petrol stations!
  10. If I was getting married in the UK then stagger would have been abroad. My Dad was gunning for Vegas as I mentioned..... Seeing as around the wedding will be filled with visits to Mickey among other things I think we'd be happy enough with something UK based. Just looking at knockers for stuff but maybe an English track would be good if a decent day can be put on.
  11. Ok, as I'm getting married I have to think of some Stag Do ideas along with my groomsmannies. It MUST be in the UK as I'm getting married in Florida and a lot of my mates are coming over. Vegas is out, much to my Dads disgust! I'd love to do something like the goodwood revival - festival of speed would have been awesome but it's past. I'd prefer if it was something to do with cars primarily whether on track or getting very dirty. Apart from that I'm open to ideas. My mate has offered up his extensive farm if we fancy making our own adventure weekend locally...... This has brilliant potential for certain broken bones and total carnage. Anyone done anything brilliant?
  12. The whole package is not to my taste. I like stance but I think it can be taken to extremes. The green is brilliant, the wheel colour is nice - especially on a silver or white Zed however the wheel style doesn't suit the lines of the car. The lip kit doesn't do it for me either on that model. If the car was smoothed with no lip spoilers and had a set of aggressive wheels from Volks or Works then we'd all be hailing it as the best zed ever.....
  13. Getting back to the original issue. I'm saddened by Amy Winehouses death. As an artist she was so talented. Back to Black is an amazing album. Her lifestyle however did her no favours. I can't imagine being in the position that drugs were my any sort of focus my in life however this is what happened to her I guess. So sad, devastating for the family she has left behind. Pete Docherty was a talented fellow too - The Libertines were awesome. Drugs too became his main focus in life and now look at him? I think everyone agrees he's on borrowed time unless major lifestyle changes are made. Pete Docherty is more famous now for his drug addiction than he ever was as the Libertines frontman. Why do the media give these 'stars' so much coverage? They are responsible for showing those that can be influenced pictures and stories of their heroes doing things that are awful. If the media didn't print these pictures and stories then these people rightly or wrongly would remain just talented individuals instead of no good junkies..... Drugs as a passing interest can be enjoyed (probably - not my thing I must say) with no consequences much like alcohol. It's when it becomes the main focus that it really spells trouble.
  14. Lol I don't trust myself with a polisher and I witnessed someone burn thru the paint to plastic while removing a scratch on someone elses car so with the wafer thin paint I think il leave it be for now Anyway this thread is about popping paint not swirls lol. I'm gonna ban u stew You've got no chance of burning the paint with a DA. I attacked mine with a DA for the first time few weeks ago and was so timid I kept it to speed 3 with Megs Ultimate Compound. Didn't get hot and didn't get rid of the swirls. DA's are designed to me clumbsy arse proof! You can. It'll take a while but it's possible. With a rotary you can do it seconds though if you're not careful! Go on Irfan, you know it makes sense! Get an order in with Tim From Envy for everything you need. You'd NEVER look back!
  15. We'll have to keep an eye on you then!
  16. You need 67 points to get in, depends who you put as the primary. we have 78... not including family that live there (that counts for 10 points. ) There is a list of 29 jobs (that change) they will gain you access pretty much immediately.... we are not on the list. Also if you can get a job offer before you apply that will gain entry and accelerate the process. If your up for adoption let me know I'd probably get a million points for being an Oil and Gas Engineer especially when I have quite a bit of heavy oil experience.
  17. Swirls Irfan! Look at the swirls!
  18. I can't see in the ad where it says it's an import?
  19. There are I'm sure! Plus we've banned a few spammers from Canada too!
  20. I keep scrolling up and looking at the pics. I want a classic in my life!
  21. Big fan. Great car!
  22. Great news! Congratulations and Best of Luck..... twice!
  23. Depends on the shoulder of the tyre etc. The design of the wheel and the sloped shoulder / stretched tyre makes for a very distinctive look on the Zed on rics Zed.
