I have light corrosion on my Rays but the previous owner has kerbeb them. Will a dealer still look at that or would they be just shoo me away? My previous car dealer (lexus) got me a brand knew set with no questions at all. Brilliant!

I have just gone down the pop charger route. I don't want an aftermarket exhaust but they are available as are high flow cats. Twin Turbo and supercharger kits are available and oh so tempting. I'm not the best person to ask as I'm knew to the Z scene.

It makes a big difference. All the sound is pushed out and with dynamat it directs it in and lets you hear the music above the rattles!

Thats what I mean! It'll shake you to bits but also offer exceptional sound quality at lower levels. The W7 is an awesome bit of kit. I had W3s but they were slightly underpowered. I should have invested more but got fed up and moved on!

I had installs in my previous cars. I ran a sony install first and then I went to alpine and JL audio. I finished up with DLS stuff with JL audio subs. Oh, and 125 db. I have heard some proper installs and believe me, if you want bone trembling bass then 12s will provide it but if you want all round usability and just good sound then 1 10" quality sub will be the best option. For just driving about the bose system is fine, can lack bass but it's alright. If I was to upgrade it it would be with high quality gear and loads of dynamat. You are looking at serious weight! Cheap stuff is normally junk - get the good stuff, you'll really appreciate the difference

Fair play. When I was a student i worked at a petrol station/garage with an LPG pump and you'd be surprised the cars that used it. I wouldn't convert mine as I'm not a tree hugger or a grippy fisted bugger (I am a scotsman though - honest!) For an everyday long commute it makes sense for some.

Well I have done an indicated 142 in a controlled situation and there was loads to come! It was still pulling like a train.

I was going to trade my car but the dealer I bought mine from offered 2k less than I got when selling privately. 5.5k v 7.5k I also saved about 3k on the used price down south v aberdeen. All in all a healthy saving! I kept my old car and sold it after. Took a week or two for the reg to be transferred etc. Well if you see any up here give me a shout and I'll have a look for you.
