  1. Yum. The Spider looks achingly good too.
  2. It's brilliant. The new has been integrated into the old to modernise it without spoiling it. That is a great car.
  3. The cat I had growing up (had her 18 years from age 5) was a total mentaist with everyone apart from me. Anyway, we used to put stuff in dairylea or pate for her. Job done! Peanut butter would work too although I haven't tried my kitten on that yet.... he did however eat a good chuck of boiled new potato last night...
  4. I had a quick scan on ebay last night at track cars to see what's available as it's the end of the season. Some pretty good stuff is kicking about actually...... A few 205s etc that looked tasty and well prepared.
  5. The twin charged 1.4 is excellent. My mate has a little 1.4 Polo (NA) and it's not bad at all. Not going to win any drag races but it's perfectly acceptable for driving in and out of town etc. I really like the Scirroco so it's a fine choice of car!
  6. Well keeping it really budget.... Saxo VTS or 106 GTI (essentially the same car) - Loads of fun and cheap as chips, E36 325 or 328 - a few grand could see you in an M3 but I'd imagine there would be a fair old increase in running costs..... Have a look on ebay and see whats being sold cheap to see what you fancy. I'd also look at the tracks you'll be driving, you'll know yourself what'll work on them and what won't.
  7. Clearance might be an issue. The wheels will stick IN more than rays. Unless the wheels are free I'd look out for JDM 17s or stock 18s. They are cheap. ZMANALEX is not too far and often has wheels available. You could ask him.
  8. By cheap do you just mean cheap to buy? Or do you mean cheap to maintain too?
  9. Cat D is a good shout. Same as buying a tatty example. Following on from Biscuit, something that is easy on tyres and brakes (so light) would be a must for me. If said tyes and brakes are reasonable to buy then it's all good. RWD would be lovely but not essential for me. A clio 182 on a twisty track will be fun and probably quicker than most RWDs. The options are endless so I guess best thing to do is decide what you want, prioritise the list then have fun finding something that fits the list.

    Cobra

The one for sale is a superformance too. Same as the one I was in. I'm told that they are the best replicas. They are licensed so should be! All the engines and stuff are 'proper' and the model I was in was the 427.
  11. You might be surprised what they'll do for you deal wise if you deal with the selling dealer.
  12. Good luck finding one, optional in some markets but very rare..... Looks lovely though.

The Dog was quality. It kept jumping up on me, made a right mess of my T shirt! Lovely beastie though. I wish I'd videoed it running, sounded amazing through the side exit pipes. It really is a fantastic car.

    Cobra

Superformance Cobra Replica. This is a replica licensed by Shelby so it's very very good. Even down to the fact it has knock on wheels. Awesome! Anyway, the story - I got a call to nip over to Milan last week to have a meeting / do a presentation so I duly went the next day. Met the relevant guys, turns out in conversation that the guy I'm over to see if a 'car' guy. So on Friday he says at lunch to come to the underground car park as he'd brought in his 'Porsche replacement' to work. Oooooooooh Cobra. Nice. We went away had our Pizza and back to the office. When we were finished he asked if I wanted a lift into Milan. He said we'd cruise past the streets with all the hot chicks. I was in. Outside my hotel Had a blast about. What a BEAST! Loved it. Coming into Milan after been for a 40 minute blast about and it goes pop, pop, pop, bang, gurgle, pop BANG, pop, pop. Oh dear. We pulled over, the cars that acknowlegded us were all Ferarri and Lambos. I was gutted the white 458 with yellow calipers and black roof didn't stop though as I really wanted a better look at it! I decided to take a few snaps while we was waiting for the tow truck. The tow truck arrived. We had to go to the tow truck garage as they wouldn't take us to Monza due to traffic, the guy that looks after the car races Racicals and looks after all the Radicals in the race series in Northern Italy. Apparently his garage is just pure porn so I was keen to go! The tow truck yard dog - called Franc. We played about into the night, I was determined it was ignition related not that I know anything about cars... The plugs were black but it just wouldn't spark properly. I will put up the vid of the 4 barrel carb and exhaust spitting flames when I get it off my camera. Anyway, just got an email from the owner and he said that 'In regards to my car, it turned out that the gear, transmitting the timing to the spark plugs, broke due to excessive worn out (most probably too much tight clearance made by the engine manufacturer). The good news is that the piece will cost me 20/30 USD, but the bad news is that there is no way to replace it without removing the engine and tear it down since it is directly connected to the main cam shaft. As a matter of fact, I can comfortably say that you had the pleasure to have the last season ride on my car. To be read with a stereotypical 'Dolmio' Italian accent..... I must say, even with the disaster I fell head over heals for the car. It was absolutely brilliant. I was playing with my new camera too hence the random pics. Any pointers more than welcome.
  15. The Mercedes 320CDI engine is superb. Paddles????? Pfffffft. Full auto all the time! I once tried to drive my Dads S Class (2009 or 2010 320CDI) with the paddles and it was rubbish. There is so much torque and it's so smooth it was better in full Auto. I'd go for a CLK500 or a 55AMG if you want petrol but the diesel will do everything you want it to. I love the G35. At half the price I'd buy it to be honest. Stick the rest in the bank for the next car.
  16. They are snapped up by the 'proper' 4x4 guys. No overhangs, SWB, robust...... Perfect litlle 4x4 for abusing properly. Fourtracks aren't bad, Sportracks are worth a gander too as they are smaller. The Maverick we were playing with at the weekend..... After my mate drove it.... After we rolled it back on it's rubber! Drove out the field fine on three tyres so we could continue riding the banshee, driving the fastrac and blasting clays.
  17. My ragdoll kitten deactivates when you pick him up. It's his natural reaction. It's ace! My other cat, not so good! I might try it on her tomorrow as it's treatment day....
  18. Just click on the smilies Pics are best from photobucket. Bodykits..... What have you been looking at? What do you like? What do you want to achieve?
  19. innit blud, iz cus scuby iz da bezt whip innit.
  20. Best idea is to open a photobucket account. Then simply copy the tags here. It's very simple and plenty of people here (myself included) will be willing to help out.
  21. Good winter tyres, a service and job done Mart!
