yes 98 Ford Explorer with 70k on the clock, gave exactly £2000 with 12 months MOt and 3 months tax on bargain Kev
That is a bargain! Big comfy things those explorers.
My Astra was free so I can't complain!
I have plain black plastic ones.... I have seen little chav b45tards near my car once while parked outside a friends house. They will not be bothering me again...
I like shiney things, I might purchase locking ones
Bargain though!
I personally feel that if a car is put together well with quality bits then it will not need too much warrenty work done on it. If something goes wrong it should be fixed with no questions and no inconvenience!
On a 6k base model micra (or whatever they cost - the CC skip is 15K!) the quibbles might be acceptable due to low material costs. On a 30k car the material should cost more and be better quality. If it isn't then the customers will NOT return to the brand. This is what makes money!
Edited to include an additional word!
Exactly what I was thinking when I read the first post!
or buy an engine from a breakers and drop it off at the tuners with a few shiney bits for a bit of work!
I agree that the Zed is very usable however if you check my geographical location you'll find that I suffer from a fairly harsh winter.
White icy roads and -7*C going to work this morning. I just don't want to risk my car as I couldn't afford to insure it with a claim!
The money I save on petrol I spend on mods anyway so the car gets a treat when it's not being used everyday!
Ok, so what is the small mod that needs done? I don't have a sheet so I'm not sure what needs to be done! I would go and sus it out myself but it's -4.5*C here and I don't want cold fingers!
Anyone have a decent pic or anything of what needs done?
And I though it would be a 'How you doin'?' Joey stylee welcome.
Just wait for Sarnie to arrive with the smilie. He won't be talking about the car either!
winter cars rule. I had a 1.3 SR nova a few years ago for a winter shitter. It was awesomely quick for what it was (had a big carb among other things) and I remember scandinavian flicking it for the 10 miles home from the night club I'd been in (sober!) with my mates in the back pissing themselves!
Ace fun driving something yu don't give a monkeys about!
frozen fingers tonight then Stew
Handy it's only a 10 min job though
Indeed Tim. I'll see if I manage to get it done. Might wait until tomorrow night.
I'm not driving the car so it doesn't matter but I like to fit my bits!
