Worst car was an E plate Nova SR that I used as a jalopy. It was quick, big carb and god knows what else. It had been painted white on top of silver paint and hardly any of the electrics worked. It was fast though....

I don't think the X type is RWD Nixy. I'm pretty sure it's FWD for the base model and 4WD for the bigger engines. Leave the ESP on when road driving. I have found with the Zed that if you take your normal corner speed and double it it'll still get round! I'm not Lewis Hamilton and I don't try to be either. It's fun in a big space taking off the ESP and then booting it and doing some donuts and drifts. If you don't feel comfortable then don't do it. Go somewhere alone and have a play about late at night. Maybe try to drive a road you drive a lot and have a glance at the speedo when you are entering and exiting a corner. Maybe the next time you drive it try to enter and exit a few MPH quicker?

My first car was a 1992 Vauxhall Nova 1.2i Flair in breeze blue (K875 TAY). It had loads of choice mods but was very tastefull. Not a chav mobile, more a tidy modernised 'classic!' I know what happened to it though, sold it, then a guy that I knew bought it and wrote it off!

I bought the Zed at 23 as I'd owned my house a year and a half (got the keys on my 22nd birthday, unfortunately it wasn't a present) and I had some extra cash. I thought I might as well do it before I have kids etc. I said to my mum it was because I didn't want to be a balding man driving about in a bright red Merc SL at 50 like my Dad in his summer toy. My mum had also just been diagnosed as being ill (very aggressive cancer which she got through and is now fine) and I though why wait and never own a two seater with a ridiculously large engine? I don't regret it for a minute and my family think it's great.

Never met anyone particularly famous. Quite a lot of footballers over the years (including Cantona - I found an autographed sheet the other week!)
