Well if you have a bottomless pit full of cash then a Zed with a built engine would be awesome. However an Evo is probably better value for many as it comes turboed already and throwing £10k at an evo would get you a hell of a lot more than throwing it at a 350Z.

I think it looks gash. The new mitsi looks very nice indeed. I guess that they want the STI to compete with focus ST etc rather than the Evo now. Good move making a hatchback but I think the marketing department has it's work cut out!

Scary. The focus brakes are actually excellent. My GF drives one and they are quite impressive. Glad you and the Zed came out unscathed. The truck however seems to be a different matter, as with the wall probably!

I'm just a few miles from the 'deen. The 'shire is my my address. I'll have a look out for the mini. There are plenty of them going about up here. My Z is azure.

I don't personally like it on a standard bumper. It looks sweet on the version 2 Nismo bumper though!

Yes sir! I have a second car and have to build up no claims on it. All mine is in the Zed! It sounds good but it is actually to stop people doing this type of thing, taking out policys for there kids as lets face it, it's cheaper! I'm afraid your boy might have to bite the bullet and either pay big or sell up and get a no power car. Unfortunate I know.

Always ask to demonstrate the fault. Some of these people just can't see a problem it seems. If they will not let you demonstate the fault to them then get it all in writing from the service manager. It's better to have these things just in case.

Ha ha! Quality. My handbrake was crap on a sxo I owned and I returned late one night and parked up the drive, my mum woke me up in the morning saying that the road was blocked as my car was in the middle of it! It only rolled about 10 feet but was pretty funny all the same. My mum thought I'd parked there on purpose for a laugh!

I was going to buy two flats when I was 21. I was living in Siberia with my company paying everything so living was cheap. I got transferred back to Central Europe though so decided to by myself a house as I didn't want to live with mum and dad. I get on amazingly with them but I was just used to my own space! Kind of wish I had bought the flats and the house aswell..... wasn't really an option though at that time.
