  1. Well for 15k you'll be looking at an import. Probably ST spec to get the toys. Black leather is your only other option. Mods, you might be lucky! I would say it's possible! Be picky.
  2. You'll always split opinion. I actually quite like them too. They are original looking and different from Nismo LMGT wheels (which are nice but they are common) Caution Small RANT! I think everyone will know my pet hate is posts which say 'what do you think I should do' 'Do you like it' Oh you don't???? I won't buy it then! Grow a set of fcuking balls and just do what YOU want! That was generalised - not aimed at anyone.
  3. Do you care what others think?
  4. Is that Andys? I'll give you 99p for it!
  5. hey buddie, if you like them you go for them (if we ever find out what they are!) Modding is a personal thing. It's making your car personal to you. Be original and you'll find that people would probably like them!
  6. Pics up! The thread is don't be jealous so it's on topic! I'm driving a nice pimp rangie for the next few days instead of the 'Astra of Death'
  7. Try living up here. Everywhere is down south!

    anoraks

With matching Zed socks. And the Zed car hawian shirt!
  9. With the old 1.7 vauxhall diesel you don't need a chip. Just screw up the fuel pump! Uses more deisel but they can shift (well you know what I mean!)

I am. Not just Zeds either. I like cars in general. I like to think of myself as a complete petrol head as I prefer this term to anorak. Louis will be dissapointed this isn't a fashion thread.....b:P
  11. Mine was free Nixy but needed some work done for MOT. Probably about £500 for one like it though I'd have thought. Have at look at cheap cars in the local rag, for £500 - £1000 you get some pretty decent motors. I was offered a swap for a G plate Range Rover Vogue recently! It was a V8 though so declined. It was gutsier than the Zed!
  12. I knew one of the FI gurus had to come along and sort out my mis quotes! Again, some good info there. I personally would only consider doing this if I was doing it properly. It's not worth scrimping in my opinion!
  13. Is it just me or does anybody else think the Zed would look good with the frosty bluey silvery paint that's on the V6????? Very nice.
  14. It's a real machine sinbad! Turbo don't you know! It's genuine Vauxhall wheeltrims! Saying that it only has 58k miles and starts first time every time!
  15. Me too! Next time though I'll get my niece to do it! 4 year olds hand should be great for putting in new bulbs in the space there is!
  16. I'm not a forced Induction guru. I'm just stating things others have said in the past as none of the FI gurus are here! For some of the best info in the UK PM prescience. I respect his opinion as do others on here. Tere is probably one the most knowledgable in FI zeds going. She might be worth a PM too!
  17. I believe the vortech is the cheapest system. To do it right though still takes big £££ It would be around 9k minimum for any FI done properly
  18. My dad had a lexus RX keep with a reversing camera in it and it was positioned by the number plate lights. Didn't see it unless you looked for it! Rickya has a reversing camera, maybe see where his is mounted.
  19. At least you found 20p. Bonus. Stick it in the Zed fund!
  20. I have retro fitted Alpine Nav. Still need an updated disk though....
  21. 7 on 7 off 12 hours for me. Just started this though. Used to get a call and go somewhere for up to 6 weeks working as many hours as required. Then come back sometimes only to be told to go somewhere else the next day. Worst thing was when I came home my boss wouldn't give me time off so I was in the office all the time too! Nightmare!
  22. It makes it 10 times worse when his wife wears a matching one. I cringe when you see them at shows..... Adam, I forgot you're on the East coast. All black everyday - Manhattan style!
