  1. That means Gay Jay............
  2. I've never had probs either. I used to make miss 'right turn' satnav speak to miss 'pardon' bluetooth. Great entertainment.....
  3. The Zed is a great comfortable car on the commute (I don't use mine anymore for that but that's to keep the milage down etc) Things to think about, the clutch is heavier than a 'normal' car which could be a problem in stop start traffic but I doubt it unless you have trouble holding your weight walking! MPG and running costs are much less than I budgeted for when I bought it, although with the increase in pertol prices it is getting dearer. Worth every penny though! The service interval is 9k which is reasonable. It has an 80 litre tank so it'll go for a while - hurts when you fill it though! Very easy to live with, you can take it on weekends away etc with no probs. Honestly, the only unpractical thing about it is the fact it has 2 seats but that has never bothered me!
  4. Sounds decent to me. I'll let you know about money. You got a decent tyre dressing (if you use it?), applicator pads? etc
  5. Welcome Brian! Someone once made a hairdresser joke at me in the zed. I took them out and they shut right up!
  6. Ha ha! Is that a deep fried Haggis pudding? Or Haggis, Neeps and tatties? Or the one I had the other day - Haggis sausage roll! Not bothered bud as long as its a clockwise beastie, I always think they taste better McSweens only use the finest clockwise Haggis. I'd stick with that!

  8. Thanks. I'll tell Dad, he was offering to sell it to me yesterday! He keeps it nice, I help out, I keep asking to do more as it is a bit swirled but it is 16 years old now! It's really underused (as was his Triumph Stag - similar condition!) as my mum hats convertibles and thinks he looks ridiculous in it! Such a shame!
  9. Well weekend of 6th and 7th September? As I said, I'll be flexible with work. We can confirm Sat or Sun drive, whichever is easier for most. This suit people?
  10. No problem at all. The guide is excellent. Removing the gearknob is the trickiest bit. You MUST support the shaft (ohhh err) and twist the knob. You could snap it if you don't! Even that isn't difficult, just important! Much better than std.

Worth a try bud. Always worth a try. I'm sure you could get a hold of the TSB (I think it's on the site - possibly in the warranty section) and show them that it's a known issue etc.

I think it's JDM performance that does the kit to sort it. Can't remember for sure though!

  16. I'm guessing that's a good thing....... My dads pride and Joy. I took out the shot with the old works van in the background!
  17. It's a very pampered 300-24. We looked at 500s but none were in the nick of this one. It is a J plate and really needs to be seen!
  18. A lot of that is the phone though. In my Dads old Lexus RX, he went through about 6 phones until he got one that worked well.
  19. Awesome Flirt. Now we will all leave wales wanting a TT conversion! Hello, is that the bank??????
  20. Nobody said you can't hand the bottles of cleaning gear to the eastern europeans and aske them to use it!
  21. Got a good range of products now in my list. As I said, anything on the website at all! Getting some good recommendations through people so no excuse not to have a super clean Zed!
  22. I'll sort out the payment stuff later. Not got a closing date but sooner rather than later I'd say! Ricky, I'll put you down for the Jeffs kit!
  23. Very nice Jay. I actually like the graphics, I think they suit the style of the car you've built.
