  1. welcome. That is a fair list of cars. Have to say though - what the hell were you thinking buying some of them? Kidding!
  2. My sister took delivery of her quashqui (sp???? stupid name anyway!) and she wants fancy sill protectors. Genuine Nissan items. Does anyone know where to get them that isn't full price from our local t*sser of a dealer?
  3. My dealer has a grey one in just now. My sister saw it when she was picking up her car. Not sure if it's ltd edition or not.
  4. Nice. Is the natural step from the supra to Zed? Seems to be more and more ex supra owners appearing.
  5. Like a sky package. same for tax. I'd easy uncheck things I didn't use.....
  6. Yep. Go to an auction yourself..... Privately you'll get a decent enough run around for 1k.
  7. We want pics of the car on your return. Sounds like a beast. Does he like you enough to give you a shot?????
  8. Ok. That's what I thought. My dads mate bought a 'flat' up here. Went to visit and it was a penthouse on two floors with good views and a 500k+ price tag. That is a lot for a flat up here. Then you see one bed 'apartments' in tinky areas..... I thought it might be a 'trendy young professional' thing. So, to answer my own question..... about £30k
  9. That must be on a big slope. I thought I'd seen snow and ice on the road...... never seen ice like that!
  10. slightly off topic but what is the difference between an apartment and a flat? I'm intrigued.....
  11. Lucky you. I have a two bed house in band E - I think..... I think it's based on price you paid. Well it is up here but maybe not in the big smoke.
  12. yep. roads in france / spain /states are toll roads that have a law enforced speed limit.
  13. I think that as it's a private road - technically - with public access it still counts as public..... I'm not a lawyer though
  14. High mileage ex company cars will have been serviced etc. They might be a little tatty but for a grand can you complain? Agree with Zummertor on the bigger cars at the mo. It's a fine line, my astra looked crap but was reliable and tidy enough for it's age. The freelander cost a bit more but was still cheap, seems decent so far....................touch wood..... and again is pretty tidy. You can be fussy with these bargain cars. There are a lot of dogs around but some gems too. It's always worth having a look above the budget and beating them down especially with cold hard cash in your pocket.
  15. cheers. I'll have totals etc for you guys on Monday.... or Tuesday at the latest. Let me know if you require postage or collection. Postage is Max 7.95 but usually 5.95. Small items I think are free. I don't think anyone has ordered so little as to get free postage!
  16. Well you can pay me and I'll pay the whole bill. I'll total it up and send a request via PM. Then you can let me know whether it is to delivered to your supplied address or collected in Wales. Obviously the postage charge will then not apply. Just hope it all fits in the Zed for Wales! Then everyone who collects in Wales can buy me a pint

    Bloody curbs

@*!#.... Not good. Not been near a curb or tyre dressing in 12 months! Hope it repairs easily enough.
  18. Ok, just back from Polished Bliss. We will get 10% off the total price. If you want the items posted Rich will keep the 10% off but charge for postage. This is usually £5.95. Still a decent deal - those going to Wales can pick up there items there. Those not going to Wales can have the items posted. So your total -10% + postage possibly.
  19. I booked the manse that Ebized is staying in. The chalet sounds good though....
  20. Ok, I'm going to nip to polished bliss at lunchtime today - work permitting. So I'd like to have orders in ASAP. We have £500 of orders at the moment so doing well! This has been (re) opened for a week so I guess most members that want it have been in touch! Just to recap, please PM me your order (and prices if you want to make my life easier but it's not essential!) and your name and address. I'll sort out payment etc later. Thanks again.
  21. Probably because it's a secret rip off...... My mate had a tuning business and had a superchips laptop, they were told a half day per car. I went round one night, he put the map on the car in about 2 mins and we went for a drive then he took it off! It was a saxo VTR so didn't really tell the difference.
