    RX 8 buying

Good stuff guys. His family is fairly young at the moment and his loon (son) loved the car, plenty of room for him in the back. Any other do's or dont's with the Rex as I don't know a huge amount about them. Distance is NO problem at all for a good deal..
  3. I decided as soon as I saw the pics and it's the latter Dan.

Cheers Stan. Good insight there. Prices up here are still higher but he'll travel. I'll have a look on Mazda website. Is it worth checking out an owners club for a well cared for example?

    RX 8 buying

Ok, my boss has me on the hunt for an Rex. He is a family man so wants the back seats. Is pistonheads the best place or should I try an owners club? If so can someone link one up! It has to be a 231 and has to have have leather and preferably blue (any shade) Any help would be appreciated. Somewhere around the k mark but over for the correct car.

    1959 XK 150

I see a few around here being used frequently. No XKs. Some good E types being used. I saw a fixed head at the local shops in the snow!

  9. A man goes to the doctors feeling a little ill. The doctor checks him over and says, 'Sorry, I have some bad news, you have Yellow 24, a really nasty virus. It's called Yellow 24 because it turns your blood yellow and you usually only have 24 hours to live. There's no known cure so just go home and enjoy your final precious moments on earth.' So he trudges home to his wife and breaks the news. Distraught, she asks him to go to the bingo with her that evening as he's never been there with her before. They arrive at the bingo and with his first card he gets four corners and wins £35. Then, with the same card, he gets a line and wins £320. Then he gets the full house and wins £1000. Then the National Game comes up and he wins that too getting £380,000. The bingo caller gets him up on stage and says, 'Son, I've been here 20 years and I've never seen anyone win four corners, a line, the full-house and the national game on the same card. You must be the luckiest man on Earth!' 'Lucky?' he screamed. 'Lucky? I'll have you know I've got Yellow 24.' 'F*** me,' says the bingo caller. 'You've won the raffle as well !!

    Muddy Detail

Sorry to hear that Craig. You have done some very fine details and your Scooby was the best advert possible for what you could do. It would be great to keep you as the 'expert' as I'm sure we would all benefit from your experience. Hope the road to recovery is smoother than the running of a PC!
  24. It does if you have a base spec Beemer.....:lol: As opposed to a Datsun!
