  1. Is it in the configurator yet? It wasn't last night when I tried it...
  2. No..... But I can see people wanting to film the pretty fishes with their mobiles video recording device.....
  3. I hope they do a spyder version....... IT'd look even more CGT like which can only be a good thing.

    350z vs s2000

Rich, for what it's worth I agree with a lot of what you've said. I have never owned an S2K because I found it tiring to drive. It's a hugely capable car and as a track toy it'd be amazing. As a road car it wasn't the best solution for me. I'm into torque and prefer it to high revs, this is a personal thing. I loved the interior, low slung seat, high gearbox tunnel etc. It felt great to drive but VTEC (kicked in Yoooooooooooooooooooooooo) just isn't for me. The Zed IS a lazy GT car. Sure, it's quick but it doesn't need to be nailed everywhere like an S2K. Completely different cars with completely different characters. They are comparable by price and layout but not by power delivery or character. Best thing to do is to drive both and then decide.
  5. At 1600 quid there is plenty scope for a cheap car!
  6. I think it was. I nearly decked him. He did it, My other half was next to me and I went all 'protector and self preservation' for a few seconds and realised it was in fact an old tramp and not someone trying to kill me. I really did mess my shorts though as I never even saw him at all!

    nismo kit

LMGT4s or Rota GTRs look great with the Nismo kit.
  8. Try the PDF here - viewtopic.php?f=35&t=20757&p=303811#p303811 It's the type of thing that has to be checked in person. It looks as if you need a new adaptor (less than £100) and it'll be all sorted.
  9. A dude did that to me down at the pier area. I nearly crapped my shorts.
  10. Remember that the % quoted is the percentage of light allowed through. I'm sure the Zed as standard is pretty close to the legal limit. Anything behind the B pillar is fair game.
  11. I've PM'd the OP of the thread advising of my action, copied you in Ricey so if the OP wants the info you can pass it over. Thanks for seeing the predicament we're in on this type of things. I'd love to post all the details however we don't know if this is just a mistake or if the guy is a total sheister.
  12. I moved it to the deleted section as in my opinion the details were getting too personal. I realise that the info is probably all available on the internet but in my opinion posting electoral role details (including OTHER people at the address) is going too far. I realise that people (including yourself) were trying to help and the information provided probably would. I just feel it was sailing too close to being a witch hunt on here. The thread is in tact just hidden from public view so the OP can request the details from it.
  13. There are loads of upgrades for the HR too. You could buy a DE and supercharge it straight off for cost of an UpReved HR..... The HR has a fair bit more oomph out the box though.
  14. Heres an oldie...... Just shows how much better a garage can look with a lick of paint. viewtopic.php?f=21&t=13460

  17. I've done Morton Park (Welsh base for 'Wales drives') to Aberdeen via Stanskis house in Manchester on one tank. That was 450 miles or so. Cruise control on and little traffic. In fact, it was heavy traffic in manchester...... It'll be around £100 in fuel if you behave yourself. £120 and a fuel stop if you don't!

  19. I personally like them if it's not drug dealer style. On the Zed I'd just tint the back window dark (to match the black roof) and leave the side alone. My truck is dark grey and has a factory dip tint, I really like the look of it and it really doesn't darken the interior nearly as much as film does.

  21. It's funny, I have driven the Cayman and thought 'I'd rather buy a 911' but with a Boxster it's different. I have also always said (to much ridicule and eyebrow raising) that I'd rather have a boxster than a cayman. I LOVE this new version. It is stunning to look at and I have no doubt it'll be stunning to drive! Well done Porsche, you've hit the nail firmly on the head. I think it looks better than the 991 too.

  25. I always understood that cats should be present for an MOT anyway.... Maybe I'm wrong. You can always to see if he has used OEM Cats. Or for HFCs. I guess it depends if you want to swap cats every year or do the job and leave it done.
