Uuurr seen a nice zed in japan, anyone fancy viewing it for me?
Very friendly bunch on here as I'm a newbie...if you can get the reg might be worth a HPI check if it hasnt sold.
You'd be surprised! We did have a couple of members in Japan I'm sure. Also Jurgen might get someone to look at it!
Ha ha! So there! Japan viewing sorted!
I'd rather have the option of a bigger fine.
2 points for a little over..... what does that tell you? A little over the limit is where they make money on fixed penalties.
Doing 50 in a 30 is really bad usually (in my opinion) however 90 on a motorway.... 6 points????? seems excessive.
At least there is plenty detail in there!
Nismo kit can be had for about £1500 if you speak to Zmanalex.... quickly!
Nismo wheels have rocketed in price recently however Rota have a wheel similar and it will be released in 19 inch soon.....
Jon,
Basically there are 2 UK models. standard (non GT) and GT which added Leather heated electric seats, Bose and cruise.
JDM had S, T and ST. There are not really any drawbacks to having a JDM car.
The buying guide and sticky items in the JDM section should answer most questions.
Loads of choice about right now.
Got the gt pack on mine...brembo brakes dont last more than 7-8 laps at Oulton Park...found out the hard way!!!
Go for something better.....
Fluid boiling?
I don't think you'd struggle to find people to view a car on this forum. We are a friendly bunch. Newbie or not, I think you;d get sound advice from forum members going to look at cars for you.
I'm another RWD fan. I can make progress in a FWD but prefer less power. I find it fun thrashing a car like a clio 182. Great fun. I used to have a laugh in my girlfriends old Ka. Gutless but handled alright. I'm not into big power FWDs. They are just wrong in my opinion. Yes, it's maybe a prejudice view however it's how I feel.
I bought a RWD when I turned 20 and 5 years on (nearly 6) I still think they feel better ALL of the time.
Good idea Mark. You wouldn't want to wreck it!
As for lowering, if it doesn't go over speed bumps now then keep it going deckward! No point in it being a LITTLE too low to clear a bump. Might aswell be slammed and have NO CHANCE of clearing them!
I bet Nineteensixtysix was mentioned..... you know that famous match that EVERY match is like. You know the one, England scored a goal that wasn't a goal.
:lol::lol:
Only kidding but it does drive me crackers. And everyone else I've ever met!
Agreed, if you are going to do it, do it properly!! Is my philosophy on most things!!! Anyway, when i win the lottery tonight, i'll shout you a built engine Stew
Cheers Andy...... Do you play the lottery? Just want to make sure I'm in with a chance!
Engine transplants? Better off getting FI!
I've siad all along when 5.5k FI has been mentioned that 10k MINIMUM will do it right.
I was also told to do it properly would be closer to 20k! I'm guessing this included a built motor though.
Still big bucks!
