Well off the Brighton tomorrow for a couple of days for Jaynes conference thing. I'll be mostly thrashing my hire car and looking for things to do.... Then it's off to London to hunt down and beat up Zedrush. Not got too much planned there. She wants to shop. I have booked the London Eye and thats about it! I'll do a bit of Zed spotting when I'm away!

Well Mark. Top work and well done for creating your perfect Zed. I think the rear three quarter view is the best and makes it look like one of best Zeds out there in my opinion.

Right, just went out in the p1551ng rain in a T shuirt to check out for Sarnie. When you lock the car and the door is open it makes a sound (constant beep) but the door IS locked. Same with the boot but with no sound. So DO NOT lock the car when doors or boot are open and the keys are not in a handy place.

I'm pretty sure that if you lock the car with the boot or one of the doors open, when you shut them they are not locked........I ain't got a zed so someone go check!! Just make sure your keys are in your pocket and not in the car.....

i like that mod, but if you upgrade to maccy'd's straws they are a wider bore, and you can squeeze and extra 20 bhp on top of that. you can also get those excellent turbo sound effect gismos that make everyone think you have a turbo. actually after mooking at some of the crap boxes that the barry boys of essex drive round it does look like they modfied 2 dustbins and mounted them under the rear of the car. and then used a piece of gas main piping to remove what little back pressure the car originally had. With Maccy Ds straws you lose a bit of torque though I found. My dyno read outs are on my other PC though....

A good system that you know works, and loads of people have, and know the fitment, e.t.c, good price Someone had to be the guinnea pig for the scorpian though. Someone has to try something new to know it works. At a little bit of money it would be worth a bung. It might be the next latest and greatest thing.

I hate to say this but now you've paid I'd doubt you'd get anything back. I doubt you would have anyway. Nissan is very bad with warranty claims.

Sorry forgot to answer the exhaust question. Mybad. I recomend a fiesta 1.1 backbox in place of the cats. two reguired. Join that to a curly straw and then feed it though two used baked beans tin. Sounds ace and has just the right back pressure to give you a guaranteed 234bhp increase.

Oh yeah, I saw an article on the amazing imaginary Zed in What Tractor? magazine. The feature was on a NA ploughing contest. One guy got his car build in Japan by all the top tuner and thought he'd plough the field by wheelspinning all the way up and down it! It was totaqlly awesome. The others had a big bore 1946 grey fergie as it wasn't turboed and their was a specially built NA JCB fastrac. They removed the turbos and sprinkled fairly dust where they should have been. It was a top article. Shame the Zed lost out as it just spun all the way to china! Still it was in the classifieds the next month after it got shipped back to the UK via the 'ring where it underwent testing and remapping. It must be an awesome car now.
