  1. I think the order books are open with the first models being delivered in July.

    My Mum's MX5

I quite like the MX5 but I tried to get in a new one and the seat was right back and I couldn't get comfy. I'm only 5'9" but I have a generous waist.... I like the old ones. I think they are cooler now than when they were new. Start at about a grand too..... At a grand I can't really think of a better fun car!

    Bigger Brakes

Zmanalex has a full stoptech system if that'd interest you.
  4. Hmmm, I would just stock up on some detailing stuff. Or get some spray paint to repaint wheel nuts or some plastic bits.
  5. I only noticed yours was non GT as we were packing up the booze at the hoon. I'd seen it a good few times before that..... Thats why I was asking! I did wonder if he'd fallen into the rays GT trap.
  6. It suits the roadster down to the ground. Looks better on the roadster than the coupe in my opinion.
  7. Is this code for washing the Zed or merely a typo?! Cheeky! I haven't cleaned the car in ages...... I did all the housework minus hoovering the carpets. Although That is only on the stairs, upstairs hallway and spare bedroom!
  8. You can't. A GT car has leather electrically operated seats, cruise control and bose sound system. You MIGHT see it doesn't have leather but even that is hit or miss as from outside it looks similar! Hope that helps you!
  9. Beavis would be the best man but if it's a 500mA cable and the router is drawing 1A then it will get very hot. If in doubt then don't run it. A router is normally plugged in and left running so it will overheat and at best fail. At worst burst into flames.....
  10. Cute. Not sure he likes it though! You dressing up as Santa Dave?
  11. Rays were an option on that model year....
  12. Well I've been off a while. I've done all the hosework and I wrapped Jaynes presents. I was the tape dispenser and paper holder when the other pressies were wrapped. I even put up and decorated the trees! I think I'm a househusband that earns the wages......
  13. Merry Christmas everyone. I hope Tiny Tim gets a lump of coal to keep him warm!
  14. Remember that the JDM tank is smaller than the UK one...... I agree with Sarnie though, I fill up at about a quarter and it varies a lot with the type of driving I do. If you do a 50 mile motorway commute at a steady speed and then fill up with dte 20 then of course you'll get more to a 'tank' than someone who hoons accross the countryside at every oporyunity and then fills up at a quarter.
  15. In the current climate it's also worth tailoring your buying tactics to what you're buying. Cayenne Turbo - They'd give it to you 60 mpg Polo - You'll have to work harder
  16. How on earth could you see it wasn't GT spec when it was pulling out????
  17. Looking really good. Black cars look great when clean.
  18. If you got it for anything less than £8200 you'd be quids in I think and looking at a seriously good deal!
  19. Reminds me of a story an old work buddie told me about eating a rump steak abroad.....
  20. Well Cara you think of a good place to visit and you can organise that bit!
  21. A cigarette lighter Christmas tree with fairy lights and disco baubles.
  22. Well I hope the family enjoy Christmas with Phil. I realise it migt not be much but at least he will be there with them. Have a good one folks!
