I use Magifoam. It's good stuff. I'm impressed with it and in the summer you can do a truely touchless car wash if it's only light grime.

It's only been out 10 minutes! In all honesty the list of my 'dream' cars would mostly be cars that were created before I was born. There would be a handful of nearly modern machinery. This is in my lotto win ultimate dream garage..... Oh and a veyron wouldn't even nearly get a look in on it. But as a petrolhead can you not appreciate the engineering that went into the Veyron. It's not about how fast it is but it's about how it does it, and with so little effort and so much comfort. I'm a petrolhead and an Engineer. I do appreciate the engineering but it just doesn't stir my loins. It leaves me cold to be honest. Sure it's mind boggling how good it is but I wouldn't want a picture of it on my wall as it's not attractive to me (subjective) and a dream car should basically give you a semi at the thought of it and a full lob on when you see it and hear it start. For girls, you can translate to other pant based reflexes. Take Lambos, the Gallardo is magic. I'm lucky that I've experienced a few and the Superleggera is mind blowing. A Murci is a dream machine but not my dream. Countach? Never really did it for me. The lambo I love the most and the one that I'd most like to own is the Muira. I believe it's not that good to drive however it's the one that stirs emotion in me the most.

I MOT'd my truck at the local Council place. It's actually next door to where I work. My friend is an MOT tester but because my Navara is fully loaded it's a Class VII MOT due to weight and he's not allowed to do them. He said to take it to the council. No advisories, efficient service and no hassle. I took my sisters car for an MOT at a different Council place and it was much the same.

Difference in braking distance between first and last place from 62 mph and in metres. Total: 79.2 / Dry: 35.2 / Wet: 44 Total: 113.4 / Dry: 41.7 / Wet: 71.7

The correct size tyres would be a start. Should be a 30 profile on the front too. As for pressure.

I have a set of Rays with standard tyres that you could borrow. You could collect them then drop them off when finished. Then it's only fuel cost.

where abouts did you get this done, and what did it cost? Would you say it was money well spent? Before splashing out cash there are others (including one I know works at a tyre place) offering advice that is free, even if you tried out spiggot rings it'll cost you £10 and that's it. Would it be worth checking out these things before splashing out for MORE balancing?

It sounds like he's rebalanced multiple times.... Now if that was me I'd maybe think it's not a balancing issue.

Even with all the rules in place. We still get loads of FS posts breaking the rules. Now, not saying the system is full proof as it's not but it does stop the forum being spammed by dodgy sellers and we like to think it minimises the risk for all members when buying something. Obviously though it's always buyer beware and we simply offer a platform for a sale and not any guarantees of any sort. we've also found (as a plus) that approving every post (a huge ball ache for the team, no arguments there) there is a lot less commenting on prices or 'GLWTS' posts which offer no value to the thread whatsoever.

Clay gets a huge YES from me. It's a stage in the process that shouldn't be left out as it has a huge effect on the final finish. I clay my whole car including wheels and glass when it needs it.

The damage isn't too bad if it's all superficial. It could almost be put straight on the track to drift or as a toy without too much work!
