Quite a few interesting cars. The startlet looks ace!
  2. A tad bit more important than me just watching the panels on a rig haha Everyone knows the real brains are on the beach....

    Advice on old GTI

From what I've read the Almera gti is a good track car, very underrated. You might well sell it to someone who wants to find out if this is true!
  5. I have seen it before but only because I look at that site daily and it's been for sale for months and months and months!
  6. I'm a traxxas man too but I never use them. Got a revo and a 4Tec. Both nitro.
  7. I remember flashing a zed going the other way on the goon. I was leading so gave a flash and a wave, got a perplexed look back. By the last car (i think nearly 20) they were excitedly flashing and waving! I'm sure it's happened on a Wales run I was on too.
  8. Always flash at other Zed owners.... Rarely get a response from the blokes. Jealousy? The women turn round and start following me.....
  9. I quite like Bollinger..... For the money it's taste suits me. Is that Asti stuff quite sweet? I think I've have it but not sure..... If it is then maybe look at Rose champagnes too. As has been mentioned, Costco is pretty good for picking up decent stuff at good money. If (like me) you don't drink it frequently then it might be a waste buying one bottle at £120 when could buy 2 at that.
  10. Can you get a matching steering wheel cover?
  11. I'm sure the government recommended no increases but most local authorities did it anyway.....
  12. I've taken the decision to allow all my organs etc to be used if I'm unlucky enough to be in that position. I am happy for my body to be butchered so others have a chance at life. I have made that concious decision. I am not allowed to make the decision that if I'm in a serious state that I can't end my suffering. I really don't understand it. I'm pro choice, it's a shame I can't write it into my will along with my other wishes. Turn me off if need be and give all my stuff to my wife. I'm no legal boffin but surely it can't be that difficult to do can it?
  13. Quite a few have owned both. Chesterfield, Stanski (well Lucy had a coupe), Choptop. There are more too I'm sure...
  14. I expect you'll get a full refund due to 'no stock'
  15. I stayed in Carmel then in Santa Barbara. Not a drive to rush at all!
  16. Two couple I know have been married in Cuba....
  17. I run multispokes too. I think they suit the Zed well.
  18. My friend owned one. One of my all time favourites for the sound! I have always liked the look of them too.
  19. Ok, all the answers are on the forum but I'll help you out! Standard trim has cloth, GT has leather. That's the biggest tell tale. All UK cars had gold brembos. The early cars (orange strip down the light) had 276 bhp. In 2006 it got 296 (different headlights) and in 2007 came the 309 bhp model. It has a bonnet bulge and two air intakes under the bonnet. The TC is switchable. There is a trip computer. That is the absolute basics. Have a search about and you should find all the differences and buying guides etc. You can also post up links of cars you've seen and people on here will confirm the model etc. When getting into imports it gets complicated!
  20. I drove from SF to San Diego and I stuck on Highway one (PCH) all the way. AWESOME! I mean truely amazing.
  21. Well Will, I'm free later this week if you fancy a run in Rosie!
