  1. Twobears is a happily married woman Stew. Yes but you are a total horndog!
  2. The ice bar is a laugh. The red light district area is a tourist attraction more than anything. There is great architechture and walking along the canal is a pleasure. I avoid the cafes - not my thing and all and seemed to be full of tools from the uk...... There are nice boat runs on the canals and loads of decent places to eat in the centre. Been a while since I was there and I've never actually stayed there, always just passing through to / from Rotterdam with work so can't comment on late night activities at all.

Great but quiet! Sounded ace when giving it beans but very quiet when cruising. Jayne and I discussed this, we'd have put Lexxs exhaust from his vxr8 on it!
  4. So were you modding or a rocking 1948 was a very good year my old man was a mod ! My old man was too young to be either!

Not anymore. A lot of the newer yank cars are looking good now. Saying that, I'm sick of the photocopy german designs so I like to something different.
  6. Few more 'vette pics. Jayne liked it!

This was the car outside our villa in Orlando.
  8. I hanker after these a lot. None of the evo nonsense. The standard Q version for me please.
  9. Thats a real shame and shows you just how short life is and why you should live for now!
  10. I quite like it Hugh. My parents neighbour has a new style E350 convertible in light blue, very nice car. My Dad has a current shape S Class and a mint classic SL. I like Mercs, find them very comfortable and fairly decent to drive.
  11. I just looked at the wheel On closer inspection I now see this! Wing mirror and button switches at on door are completely different - FAIL! Funny all the same! The 4 electric window switches give away it's not a zed! There are lots of similarities though, the steering wheel is almost the same.
  12. That's not a Zed you twonk! It's a Navara!

My mate wasn't in it with the luggage at all. That just wouldn't have worked at all! We only needed the luggage in it when going between Orlando, Naples, Key West and South Beach. When we left Orlando it was just myself and my wife!
  15. Ok, so some of you may know I was recently in Florida getting married and having a honeymoon. Anyway, I had to hire the car. So the first car I priced up was a Camaro. It was MEGA expensive. Anyway, after a lot of debate I decided to just hire a bog standard Mustang and then cmaybe get a big old saloon or something when we arrived if there were upgrades available. So, we arrived. Had a friendly chat with the guy at the desk. His mate brought round a Camaro SS Convertible. Now, I had priced this up already and was 3 times the cost I'd paid. He asked for not a penny more.... Chucked in a sun pass and said don't worry about the tolls and told us to enjoy ourselves. Anyway, luggage was an issue as we had two large(ish) cases and two small (carry on) cases with us due to carrying so much for the wedding. I'm a determined Engineer so it was never going to beat me! Here are a few pics of the car and my genius luggage solution when we were travelling between locations. Roof down, one small case in the boot, large suitcase behind each seat and the remaining one in between to stop any movement. This left room in the boot for shopping etc and the roof could go up if we got too hot or stopped. A few more. So, the car. Well, I loved it. It was the SS so had the 6.2 LS V8 in it (same as VXR-8) with 400 bhp, the coupe gets 420 for some reason. The steering was mega responsive and weighted nicely, it handled very well indeed sitting on P Zeros. It looks superb and the inside was brilliant. It was nice inside with decent feeling materials used, lovely lighting and an HUD. Very comfortable and easily sat 4 adults. My mate was in the back most of one day and he's 6' 3" and had no issues roof up or down. So, 2000 miles later and I must say I was sad to see it go back. Anyway, not much insight really but thought I'd share it anyway!
  16. I'd have a 'vette. I have pics on my PC I took in Naples, FL or a Vortech SC one running 1100 bhp. edit. Here is 1100bhp of 'vette.
  17. Am I going to have to out do the farming antics by making him drive a Fastrac instead of just sitting on an old MF????
  18. Worst. Watch. Ever. EVER!!!!!!
  19. For anyone complaining about these type of topics can I just say that: 1) You have the option not to read threads. Freedom of choice and all that. 2) You have the option to 'View unread posts' or 'View unread inc OT'. May I suggest selecting the former if you widsh to avoid non car related posting. 3) You can add people as a 'foe' to hide their posts forever. And if you absolutely must ignore these points then I would expect any response to be respectful at least.
