Just went to renew the tax on one of my mini fleet 0-60 in 3.2 sec 1/4 mile in 10.84 road tax £48! Oh and 40mpg! Shame they wouldn't renew it online as the insurance is due too close to the tax. It'll be a trip to the post office to hand over my £48 then.

There are a few with the Jap flag. I'm not into the show scene but maybe others that are have seen cool designs. I liked the flip pain one. That could work really well! I did a flip paint RC shell that turned out cool! Never thought on doing something like that! I might put a graphic on mine, unsure yet though.

No pics yet. Was going to take this afternoon but it was peeing down! I did a few other bits and bobs at the same time so not sure how many cans for the cover. One probably but two maybe... I just covered up the lettering. Wanted to keep it but thought it would be a pain. If I decide to make it silver then I'll perhaps make up decals to cover it. I used a white plastic primer and topped off the paint with petrol proof laquer. Thought it might make all the difference being in the engine bay! I guess I'll find out! Used plenty of wet and dry paper during the process too.

I did mine Nissan (sticking with the family) 526 which is just a standard Halfords rattle can. Nice bright red. I'd have gone orange however blue and orange are the colours of a football team I'm not particularly keen on...... Red goes with my blue quite well!

Brake pads aren't expensive. £200 will get all 4 corners upgraded to something much better OEM. As for the other two. Not sure. Could it be the lamp? Whats wrong with the washer switch?

I got abuse last time I shouted 'Get a car' at a 35 year old skateboarder with 'cool' facial hair and long shorts. Skating down the road in one of the main streets in Aberdeen city. I thought I was justified. There is just no need for that!

Fairly well documented oil consumption issues. Most didn't use but some did. Just so happened that one of the worst offenders (engine replacement) was on a magazines fleet. The 276 is a bit torquier. 20bhp sounds like a lot but in real terms I've been told that the 276 is the better of those two. Oh and BHP is great down the pub. Torques what matters on the road.

There are quite a few owners on here that have had multiple Zeds. They are best placed to offer an opinion. Ebized had a 276 and now a 296. There are also people like Digsy, GC350Z etc that have had the 313 after a 276.
