  1. Stew

    Name that kit

I thought the same Digs. Rough is the word that comes to mind.... Oh and Mark, I thought you cleaned your car for that show????
  2. Don't go to the US, or you will cry. Love red though. Lol, there's thousands of Zed owners that blow that theory of out the water. Look at the number on this forum alone. Funny, as I just looked at the updated Wales list and there are far more bright Zeds than I thought. I thought there would be far more GMs etc. SO my conclusion is type of people that buy cars and join forums will buy a bright car but non forum members buy safe....... Then you look at the ABZed mini meet pics and see 6 GMs and 2 Azures!
  3. I like cars! I'd like to see more pics of the GTRs too if you are willing to share! Ahhh, the roadster is in the best colour too! edit - If you post pics of your swimsuit model wife then you are showing off!
  4. +1 - the power gain would be nice so long as you can reliably get it I've never seen it! Scandanavia has it all over the shop though!
  5. Yeah chrome it up for the essex massive aiiiiiii! Speak to 3Fiddy, he sent me some interesting options on this that looked rather good....... Oh and seen good results with chrome paint on RC models.
  6. It was a LONG time ago. I just remembered it as I got abuse!
  7. Booooooo! It doesn't match my sunset cat anymore! Bring back Sox! OK, Sox it is! That is the REAL sunset Sox!
  8. Best of luck. It's easy enough really. If you want help then I'm in the office all weekend! I'll be available from 6.30am roughly to 7pm.... so can answer any questions - if I know the answer!
  9. http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=13897&hilit=Scottish+tale See - they were all mean to me!
  10. You're weird! Why not pick the one that performs better?
  11. I think I started an anti Scottish thread with that joke.....
  12. That is something I thought about.... I really like them but I'm a fatty so probably wouldn't fit!
  13. I agree with Stew, except the Megs clay kit is fine as it does include the lubricant as well. If you go the other routes, make sure you get a lubricant. SRP is ok, but full of silicone. Poorboys SSR grades or even the Poorboys Show Glazes (different ones for different shades) would be my recommendation. Two buckets AND a grit guard. Nothing wrong with it, just found it expensive for what it is. Bilt Hamber can be used with water, is half the price and you get twice the amount. Thats my reasoning!
  14. I'd ditch the megs clay kit. Try bilt hamber or Sonus. I notice there is no polish at all. All the finishing products won't be as good without a polished surface. Autoglym SRP is fine (with fillers) or how about Poorbooys SSR stuff? Not sure what extreme top coat does to be honest...... Agree on seperate mitts and two buckets!
  15. tried to post the webcam pics..... wouldn't work. I see Union Street is closed off between Bridge Street and Market Street and they have a pic screen up. http://www.aberdeencity.gov.uk/xwc_WebcamList.asp
  16. Any ideas how to get them clean, tried to many times but can never get them shiny! To hard to get under there! Was a post about this just the other day..... Autosol is good. For more suggestions try the search button!
  17. What a man! Alex, you have a habbit of saving members a lot of money!
  18. Sorry bit confused, so you did remove the cover but you didnt need to because of the air filter? I am unaware of any air filter that requires the engine cover to be removed. Oh right does that go for the same if I have the cold air feed aswell instead of just the panel? Pop charger sounds like a good choice, need to hear it will have to go on youtube and see if I can see anything on there that I can listen to on a 350z. Goes for all filters. CAI, short ram, panel. As I say, as far as I am aware......

  20. A filter is a good start either popcharger style short ram or a CAI will add noise. A panel filter is also an option. You will only get noise added without spending thousands. A Plenum spacer is a good mod that improves torque and doesn't break the bank! Forgot to add the engine cover will not need removed for these mods.
  21. What look do you want to achieve? What do you like? Budget? Have a look at GT4 Zed (I think....) and Martinmacs cars.
  22. Have you covered the whole garage? My garage is quite large for a single and think it would still cost about £150 to do the whole lot. Guess its not that expensive. I did the whole garage but the stuff is cheap at costco. actually I didn't do the whole lot as I have loads of freestanding shelving so only went up to that...... It didn't cost much to do anyway. Although to be honest a nicely painted floor is good in a garage used regularly!
