  1. Well I can give you a loot at my GT uk car. They're are a couple of imports and a 400bhp TT in Aberdeen. They were all at a mini meet last week in Aberdeen.
  2. A right ok. Imports aren't worth ruling out, I'd just see whats available to be honest. Depends what you want really. The GT is easier to resell (apparantly) however if you are planning ICE and a retrim then it's pointless really.... Or any serious mods to be honest!
  3. Just south of Peterhead, Ahh so you can go standalone then, thats not so bad, nah the M3 was a good car, but no fun! I think the 350Z looks like it will be, will have to get a test drive though, see whats what If I dont like then I'll have to think on sumthing else! There are a few in the Ellon direction so they are the correct side of the city..... You must be Mintlaw kinda way then????
  4. You maybe sneezed and pushed the button at the right time.... No way you did it!
  5. There are one or two imports for sale with Nismo goodies. I'm not sure if you mean the kit or the nismo engine upgrades though? The kit is easily sorted however the other Nismo stuff is pricey!
  6. Where about in the 'shire you from? To be honest, if you didn't like M3 then you might not like the Zed. It's not a turbo nutter like an Evo with a huge kick.... You are correct on the remap. None of the usual guys do it. It's a piggyback or standalone ECU I'm afraid. You can do a few bits and bobs to it before turbos. Breathing mods mainly. But to prepare for FI you'd be better getting suspension, brakes and better rubber.
  7. No disrespect and without sounding like a complete and utter A$$HOL£, I could afford to buy 2 of these right now If we didn't know you Jay I'd be sitting thinking a$$hole!
  8. What bank is he head of Not a (w)banker. Remember Aberdeen is the Oil Capital of Europe
  9. Mike gave you the contact details in the other thread. We don't have traders 'fighting' over business on here. I'd recommend PMing CS and Chilli Red for quotes on the items you require.
  10. Why so? Even people who can afford the costs have a right to say they are ridiculous dont they? One of my dads good mates bought a Vanquish a few years ago. He still moans about the cost of servicing it. Oh and his BONUS was £16mil last year! Just because you CAN or CANNOT afford it doewsn't mean you have to like it!
  11. You could beef up the mechanism with springs..... Or something flexible (think doubled over rubber) to give you a 'feel' to it all.
  12. The plenum spacer (or aftermarket plenum) redistributes air across all six cylinders more evenly. It adds midrange so probably fattens out the curve a little. I wouldn't have thought peak BHP would be affected much to be honest.

    Like his driving!
  14. Which isn't ridiculous for a car of that performance. But twice that of a 997 Turbo if the Lancer guy is correct.... The 911 Turbo is actually pretty reasonable to run from my reading on it. Sounds bloody cheap compared to the GTR.......................... Compared to any fancy machine. Remembering reading a bit (maybe in evo or maybe Northo from PH who owns Rio Prestige in Scotland) about ownership costs. All the lambos, Astons etc were horrendous costs in a year. It was a supercar club or prestige hire firm so the cars were doing a decent milage. The 911 turbo needed 1 service at £250 (or something similar) and that was it! Every other car was 5 times that for a year. It sort of goes with Louis' reasoning why he wouldn't by a porsche - get a bit of money and buy a 911 to use everyday..... It's EXACTLY why people buy them to use everyday.

  16. I had to say chippy as everyone would have thought I was weird saying chipper. I think it's an Aberdonian thing Cara. Come to think of it, I think you're right that it's an Aberdonian thing. We're weird then here..... or should I say special ...needs? You've met me Digsy...... You know the answer to that! Where did the window licker smilie go?????
  17. Which isn't ridiculous for a car of that performance. How much are pre/post track iinspections? I guess you'll be taking it to the 'ring so will be interested to see your reviews of that.
  18. You ended up Autosoling Chris' exhausts! We had the weather last year and your garden was superb for making the most of it! I think I spent half the time playing with the dog!
  19. You mean Real (rear) wheel drive Stew. I was going to write Real but though others might think it was a typo!
  20. I had to say chippy as everyone would have thought I was weird saying chipper. I think it's an Aberdonian thing Cara.
  21. That's what I call it.... Anyone can feel free to use it as long as you credit me for it!
  22. Ahhhh Ok. Sorry, random question but there is a rig in the North Sea that is nicknamed 'The Black Pig' and has been since it was commissioned about 30 years ago!
