  1. In my opinion the Zed is a GT. Will waft accross any road you throw at it while caarying a passenger and luggage in comfort and style. It's not going to break any land speed records but it looks so good driving round the Evo Triangle or across the Highlands....
  2. +1. Remember the Calendar comp. Some strong contenders there!
  3. I take the landie. That's what it's for! Oh and a very under the rader subtle mod is to turn the numptie magnet round. Think about physics for a minute. Opposite poles attract. Turn the magnet round and hey presto, numpties are retracted! I do think that means the numptie goes inside though....
  4. http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=12647&hilit=fitted Here is Chris' kit fitted to his blade coupe. Looks rather tasty in the flesh too!
  5. Different Technique to me.... I cleanse the paint then machine polish the clear coat. Then seal in my handywork (no swirls) and then wax for protection. I get a nice finish. It works for me. I still don't get why you'd seal before polishing as the polish will cut through the sealant I'd have thought therefore wasting the product and perhaps making the polish less effective.....
  6. That's what modding is all about. Each persons opinion and taste put on a car. We are all individuals.
  7. Why? Is it not better to prepare and polish the paint then run sealant then top it off with wax? Why seal then polish? I don't get it.....
  8. Or maybe just a lot of time and patience. Not to mention a bit of talent with the Spanners. I'm an Automotive/Motorsport Engineer by trade. Cheers for the welcome Guys. Or both! Alex has a monster of a Zed running a VQ. R35 Lee has a mate away to do a V8 conversion.....
  9. Jewelers Rouge or something is very good for it. Have a gander on detailing world as I've seen the problem fixed there before.
  10. Edited to display images. Very nice unit that.
  11. Moved. Nice to see you back online Irfan.
  12. Zed brutal????? Has he driven an S2K? No TC and a screaming banshee of an engine. Cracking car but your mate would be safer in a Zed!
  13. I took on the Met and lost....... Foamed up and cleaned my wheels. Heavens opened. Carried on. Then did the landie! I'm a drowned rat now but hey, at least the bird poop is off the car!
  14. Good stuff Ricky! Plenty time to get the zed bubble wrapped before you go!
  15. Nice. Can't wait to see them fitted!
  16. I can add very little to that. The Zed is a great car that offers the complete GT package.
  17. Lovely run that. So I count you both in for the Hoon then????
  18. Nipped along last night for an hour. Just away to leave to attend a stage now. Should be decent as the weather is good and there is some decent metal competing.
  19. 10rs are mental..... I had a go of a work mates one. Lets just say over taking was fun. Without thinking I was on the back wheel doing three figures. That was a little turn of the wrist. SCARY!
  20. Hmmmmm I'd buy an estate in the Highlands (would make the Hoon fun!) and a few places abroad for spreading my time over! Cars..... no idea. I always said I'd keep the Zed because lets face it, I wouldn't need to sell it!
  21. Been in my calender for months. If I don' go tomorrow I'll go to JCs tonight!
