  1. Maybe a generic comment for other Nissans, my Navara is on an 18k service schedule.
  2. Ok, Ricey and myself have confirmed that you get an email when an advert is disapproved. We still can't get the ad back though.
  3. Make sure it follows the rules (use preview) before submitting and save it as a draft too incase it gets dissaproved. Bear in mind here that the rules are very clear and highly visible. Ads are only disapproved if rules are not followed.
  4. A note is put back to the poster with a reason and a description, this is done via email. I know for sure I disapproved 3 of your ads and pointed out exactly why, asked you to look at the rules at the top of the page in the forum etc, etc. I wish I hadn't bothered as it was obviously 5 minutes of my life wasted! Do forum emails go to junk or something?
  5. Let's not stop there. Keep the tickets sales coming! It'd be nice if we could match the traders generosity!
  6. Agreed! Here is a black zed myself and another member did. It was sealed with blackfire. viewtopic.php?f=22&t=35275 I generally use the products that suit the paint I'm working with. I don't detail as much as I used to though so haven't been keeping up with the latest 'trends' that are about. I'm happy with what I have in my arsenal these days.
  7. Take a look Rich. I did an early XKS in black with it (after 2 days solid machining) and it looked absolutely fantastic. That's the puppy there - http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/acatalog ... cat12.html
  8. Never used them but I'll roll out my generic advice. Start at 35psi and adjust to suit you.
  9. And you still drive an old mans car might be old man but i'd rather have the leaping jaguar on the front and the letters X.K.R on the rear than a nissan burger. i suppose it makes me an old man with oodles class It's still full of ford switchgear Though.... its still a jaguar. the one thing ford did for jag was improve its reliability. Indeed it is. A proper jaguar at that. None of the mondo in a shell suit stuff they rolled out later. Just a shame that early XKs suffer with major body rot, electrical issues, gearbox issues etc etc. or I'd be tempted to roll in one. Even though the switchgear is from a 90s mondeo.
  10. Different brands for different jobs. Value for money is something I look for. I'm fortunate that I get to see / try a lot of stuff with my mate being a high profile detailer. I find dodo and poorboys very good generally and the meguiars professional range, the basic range isn't as good. On your dark car you'd be nuts not to buy blackfire, something I've been banging on about for years - since my mates company started importing it! I think they still distribute it exclusively but I'm not 100% sure. I can easily give more detailed list of products but Tim @ Envy will keep you right. Matt @ i4detailing also has loads of good stuff.

  12. the green rooms what the forum used to be like till the hammer came down from above, they killed alot of the banter off. although of recent times they seem to care less and its started to go back to how it used to be when it was really good. does beg the question was it the content of the post or the person posting it. but to be honest when husky was posting about what he had for breakfast, and what is your favourite dinner etc, you have to draw a line somewhere The forum was a great fun place Back when I joined - long before many others! When EVERY topic goes to 'biscuit is gay for husky and Ricky likes to watch' whether it was OT or about a clutch change it wears you down. The complaints from MEMBERS drove the team to clamp down unfortunately.
  13. What size is it? Can you make the photo bigger please.
  14. It's not MY06 either. It's only a black car with black wheels. Nothing special.
  15. I tried search ''up-rev'' ?? Nowt....lol I was thinking more along the lines of ... Differences between the programs the user selects through using Cruise button.. Im told you can select different throttle maps for the auto's...? Search all one word (without the hyphen) and you should see results. Some have the different maps, some don't best to find out where it was UpRevved and contact the tuner, they will be on here.
  16. Come on people, great cause! No need to be at Wales to enter, no need to own a zed and the prizes are spread all over the UK! No excuse not to enter! Every pound goes to a charity and every pound counts whether you want 1, 5 or 100 tickets!!
  17. It's 296 if it's an MY06. Just call them and tell them.
  18. And you wonder why the team don't particularly want an elected mod.......
  19. Check out the bike thread. You'll See plenty bikes and bits in there.
  20. I think a lot of people are getting fear / really dislike and phobia mixed up here.
  21. That's why I only ordered one. Oh and biscuit you liar! You didn't get it for your birthday!!!!!!
  22. No, I've never owned an MG, although, actually I did have an Austin Healey 'Spridget' once . My last car was a BMW 325 compact, which is a tad heavy to drive, but not too bad. I've only had the Zed for a couple of weeks, so just getting used to it. In my defence my drive to work is a very very winding country road Have you played with the seat. I can't help thinking it's a position issue if there is nothing mechanical.
  23. Sometimes less is more.
  24. Really? If you had 260k to buy a car you'd buy this?
