God, this reminds me of one of Vals wheel threads..... It's good to raise the safety point but as Chesterfield pointed out most of the wrecked rotas on the yank forums have been dumbasses that have lost it. I'm pretty sure if most wheels would have been wrecked in these situations. Rotas are not made of butter..... And as for a Rota disintegrating hitting a badger at 60???? I doubt it but if you want to prove it with Engineering calculations I'll happily listen! At the end of the day, everybody will spend there money the way they like and with the price of a Zed dropping in seems rather silly to me to spend in the region of 25-35% on the value of your car on a set of wheels that have a cool badge to run on the street.

Probably. I remember a good few years ago a drunk guy was blocking a main road in Aberdeen and trying to throw cones at cars. I stopped, strted unblocking the road and the guy went for me. The MPG gauge is cummulative. It will barely shift until you reset it. Then it goes nuts for a while. Then is settles down again. 26 mpg is pretty good for a Zed especially if you ever take it into traffic. MPG is better on track than in traffic!
