There was a previous administrator on this board. There was a conversation/thread in June 2007 where the team discussed the future proofing of this community, said previous administrator purchased the ".com" domain during these discussions. It was initially pointed to this site, but then subsequently there was a difference of opinion between that administrator and the rest of the team on what direction this community should take. That administrator then left this community, and the domain name was pointed to 350z-tech. We have attempted to make contact with this person regarding the purchase of the domain name, however there has been no mention of a figure, the response so far is that he is not sure he would want to sell the domain unless the money is really interesting. It is slightly annoying in that the domain was purchased during the time of a discussion on future proofing this community, but has now subsequently been forwarded elsewhere for no apparent logical reason. People can draw their own conclusions into the character of an individual who would purchase a domain during discusions held in good faith in this community, and then subsequently forward them elswhere after a difference of opinion; then only consider selling them back to that same community if the money were "really interesting".

I called them on Friday. They said I could have 1 month free if I got it online.... Boxes aren't available just yet so they are taking notes of interest and will call back when they are placing an order apparently. They also want 70 bucks 'installation' fee. Is there more to it than plugging in the two aerials, power and an HDMI cable? I don't have sports package but would enjoy the movies I think.

Sky HD, is it worth it? It costs 9.75 gbp a month extra (or 117 gbp a year) which is a sizable chunk for what could be nothing..... Opinions please. Also, if you can get a deal let me know.....

I could be wrong..... In my house I use quite good speaker cable and I wouldn't splice it to cheapo stuff to squeeze it through something.

I'd have thought that an enthusiast would be using new cable as a good quality speaker cable would be wasted spliced to standard stuff. Cable is only as good as it's weakest part generally.

Hehe, we do. You can actually fit a bit of gear into the back when needs be. People are always amazed at the amount of stuff you can fit in a Zed when you get it all out the boot. You just have to be clever with the packing The years I wasted playing tetris have come in handy since buying the Z I really think it's a practical enough car. Much more so than it looks. If it had a couple of unusable +2 seats in the back then it'd be mega unpractical!
