I've been pulled twice in 7 years both for speeding, got away with the first but not the 2nd time 33 times in my blue Nova - no charges 0 times in my white Nova 3 times in my saxo - speeding, mis representation of a numberplate / bulb was out, fog lights on (it was foggy and I proved it!) 0 times in my Lexus 1 time in my Zed - misrepresentation of a number plate (too small) 1 time in Landie - offroading in a building site. They just checked I wasn't a thieving gypo and let me on my way. I think that's the total since 6-6-2000 and the first one was less than 72 hours after I passed. That resulted in a complaint against one officer too!

I've driven an ST, the only thing I liked about it was the colour (orange) and my girlfriend hated it too. FWD is so gay even the gay dudes don't want it! To be honest the ST will be quicker if it's chipped up etc but get in a good RWD the steering wheel stays in the correct place when you plant your foot!

I was pulled 33 times in my first 6 months of driving. Not one correction order, or conviction resulted in my 'pulls' but I was a young dude in a tastefully modified *ahem* Nova with harnesses. They usually pulled me over for not wearing a seatbelt but were cool when they saw the harness'. I did cruise about but it didn't bother me in the slightest being pulled. To be honest, I'm glad you are taking it on the chin and using it to think about speeding etc.

I think it'd be foolish not to rebuild the engine at the same time.

I had this on a trackday and discovered that it was coming out the dipstick (Confirmation from ZMANALEX ). One of the seals had broken. I could see traces of oil though so it might not be that but still worth checking. You losing oil at all?

I think I'm £75 a month efor each.. One always ends up in credit and the other debit. It's always the same amount roughly so I just leave it! Must do a compare your energy price thingy to check out deals.

A couple of great new entries. I'll expect more this week! Brummybird, my tip to you would be screw down the foam mixture. Not sure which lance you have but I always have the dial screwed in when I want foam, the more to the '-' the thicker the foam! Great effort though and superb results!

Have only used microfibres or terry towels in the time I've been cleaning cars. Microfibres are much better for paint though!

Could just be down to the softer sidewall of the Toyos, I noticed a difference when I changed initially. The Bridgestones have a very stiff sidewall.

1 – What is the best method for getting rid of dead bugs? Personally I get warm water on a microfibre and lay it on the problem area (not that easy on the zeds bumper but possible) then you remove the cloth and the bugs will be soft and easy to remove with a washmit and shampoo. 2 – What is the rough cost of get the Rays Refurbished? Depends what you want done but £50 to £90 seems normal. 3 – What is the best wax product? Ahhhhhhhhhh, lots of options. Everyone will say different. I'll say this though - the wax will make no difference if the paint hasn't been prepared properly underneath it! It is also very colour dependent!

I had this and it happened instantly. Basically one minute it was fine, the next it was noisy. New pads fixed it though.

The stealer is actually you're friend on this one. Less than 4 quid I believe. Been asked for many times before so has sussed this out!
