  1. Step 1 is alright, step 2 is probably ok. I'd scrap step 3 though as I remember it being no better than average. The gold class shampoo is good (watch dilution rates though - less is more) and the glod class wax was ok too! I'd tend to go for it.

    Envy Z badges

Link? But generally all the badges fit the bootlid and cover the two holes on the lid.
  3. Silver is very forgiving for watermarks. I'm lucky I live in a very soft water area but in sunlight I still suffer.
  4. Come on Mr Headphones! Surely you have some nice deswirling material in your detailing arsenal! I find the drying stage puts more swirls in than anything to be honest. Nice flake pop by the way! It's amazing how different the colours look when looked after properly.
  5. Be VERY careful with your laquered rims BM.
  6. Over three years for me. It's still there!
  7. http://www.simonscat.com/films.html From the guy that brought you the one with the cat on the bed! There is even a Dog one two if canines are you're thing!
  8. You are correct. The very same reasons I sourced USDM Nismo sides. They look WAY cooler too!
  9. Something to remember here though, the Zed is a fairly low volume car in the scheme of things so you will be charged more. It's not an excuse, it's a fact! ?The forum is the best place to source stuff!
  10. Please tell me you go, "thats lovely for you isnt it Boyo" Well we did call him the Welsh coal miner...... Not sure if that's racist or not but he didn't worry.
  11. TSBs are Technical Service Bulletins. It's mentioned in the glossary!
  12. I find that my polished lips get scratched. Dirt and much sits in the lip and just goes spinning! I give it a bash with megs metal polish too.
  13. You know the really funny thing, I work with a Nigerian Engineer called Boyo!
  14. Well if you find cars around Aberdeen give me a shout as I'd happily view them for you. I'm no mechanic but I have been around Zeds a while and know what to look for. Then I could tell you if it was 'rather spectacular'
  15. Maybe a silly question but the car is a coupe isn't it? If it is then take it to the dealer and they should sort it if they sold it to you as having BT.
  16. Been in the for sale section for quite a while.
  17. I'm guessing this is non LED?
  18. Rays were never part of the GT pack. They were a £1000 option before '06 when the became standard.

hyper black all the way. No polished lips. They'd look awesome and pretty damn mean!
  20. To be honest, you'd be better replacing the ICE with aftermarket stuff. Then a nice leather retrim on the seats. You could replace the seats with GT seats and get heated seats in etc but not sure how hard this is.

£14,995 Liam. It was on the Pistonheads ad. I wouldn't mind a few parts from it either!

i live in suffolk would that require winter wheels? im tempted to go all hyper black and not have a polished lip as it seems to be the polished lip that sufferes in winter. i'd want to keep the rays for when i sell up if i went this route. and wouldn't want to buyy extra tyres for the rays to use them as a wiunter wheel No idea if you need a winter wheel or not. Are you in the 3 snow flakes and it's on the news region? I'm in forgotten North Scotland where I feel more comfortable changing wheels in winter as we get quite a bit of snow. Black wheels look great on a blade Zed (see Jays car) but the price difference isn't *that* huge getting the new wheels. The problem for me would be the need to change your knackered rear tyres.

Nice Rich! I'd just buy them - they look superb! As I say though, if you can do without winter wheels you can sell the rays to get the money back.

I agree that if you do your wheels you'll think 'wish I'd gone for different ones' however not sure if where you live you need to swap for winter or not. If you do then you still need tyres anyway..... Personally I'd go for the refurb now and maybe get saving after for different wheels if the mood strikes!
  25. The wheels look great (need spacers though in my opinion) but the design and colour lend itself well to your Zed.
