  1. Looking at it I doubt a detailer could sort that. Make it look better maybe but not repair to the standard of the dents away guys that do these things for a living.
  2. Of course it is! Besides, it's the taking part that counts!
  3. sounds like a detailing comp entry to me!
  4. Welcome along. If you are looking at a GT make you check the CD player function of the Bose. It is known that they can skip when cold and the left channel can cut out too. The other things have been covered. Actually, as some of the cars are reaching 4 - 5 years old a trend of the exhaust splitting just before the backbox is becoming apparant however it can be patched for about £50. Nissan will say a new backbox is required at a cost of circa £800 so this can be used to bargain!
  5. Bomex or something maybe..... 3Fiddy is the boy for knowing what kits are!
  6. Welcome. I love the stripe up the front. I think it looks great!
  7. 20s fit without a problem as long as they are a sensible size. If you get proper fitting wheels you won't need spacers. If you lower it generally it's ok but sometimes camber goes out of alignment. You can get a camber bolt for the rear which helps but if not then more goodies are required.

  9. Wow. What a car. The XK120 is in my dream garage so the 150 isn't too far away looks wise! Stunning and the gloss when finished is stunning Paul.
  10. Ah! An Aboyne loon. I'm out there often on my bike or in the Zed. I stay just west of the city. The Hoon is ideal to break the beastie in! Oh, full bore upshifts are fine in the Zed up the pit straight! Plus you get the added bonus of PAX laps with ZMANALEX too!

Also, I have booked an afternoon tea for late afternoon at The Ceilidh Place with lots of home bakes and tea and coffee. Again this was excellent last year. So If you let me know if you require lunch and afternoon tea (both are optional) then the venues would appreciate it as I'd like to give them numbers as soon as possible. You can add to the list (like I've done above) or you can just leave a post in this thread or send a PM. I'm making it very easy for you! Not sure on final costs but if we aim for £30 per person for both lunch and afternoon tea (you won't need dinner after that!) I think that'll be about right and drinks will be included. I'll confirm pricing when I know! Thank you!
  12. Damn, so that's why he couldn't make the hoon!
  13. definately spoiler. It pulls it together I think.

  17. Welcome along. It'll join a few other zeds in the forces in Germany!
  18. Like the old one (and one of my favouites) What's the difference between a carpenter and a joiner? A carpenter paints cars and a joiner works with wood! Might need an aberdeen accent to pull it off though as a painter up here is a 'pinter'
  19. Chrome model paint would be worth a try surely!
  20. these Scam emails are as infuriating as things like people jumping queues etc. It won't kill you or ruin your life (unless you fall for the scam...) but really annoys you at the time! I know a few years ago in New York they had an initiative to stop the most annoying crimes like dropping litter and jumping the subway gate. Things that annoyed people and it was very successful at the time.
  21. Martin had bronze 18" Nismos and they looked great! I'm getting my Rays refurbed soon..... Azure is a difficult colour to get a 'different' wheel refurb on.
