  1. Haven't seen a red one in the 'deen yet. Queens Terrace is a hot bed for nice cars. Regular spots there are a RR DHC, every ferrari you can think of and one of the locally owned Zondas can be spotted there semi frequently.
  2. Dad has used Land Rover assist (which I'm guessing is the same) two times for his Rangey and they have been first class.
  3. Looking good! http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/s ... p?t=136059
  4. Just checked anytime, it's not on!
  5. Sky+'d it. Will watch it soon!
  6. Unfortunately moderating decisions will always cause debate. Sometimes people will disagree with our decisions and sometimes people will support the same decision. You'll never please everyone. There is plenty of off topic stuff to keep us all amused!
  7. I have two bad knees! Funilly enough they are only sore when I sit in my seat at work!
  8. I want arches blended, painted & front bumper respray Think you're going to need both sides painted and blended into the rear too I'd have thought.....
  9. Welcome along. Zed prices are currently on the rise which might limit your search a bit.
  10. If you're entering for fun then it'll be a good car. If you want to be competitive then it won't be!
  11. I'm with you. Looks very like Azure! To be honest I think the price is too high already. Quite like the retrim, maybe a little max power but it's quite nice!
  12. straight on. I have the same size wheels (different offsets though) and I use 245 x 30 R20 and 285 x 30 R20 tyres if anybody wants to price some up to go with the wheels.
  13. Lets not turn this into a religious debate. This thread was meant to be a bit of fun.
  14. Story stolen from my local bike site.... You might be the leader of the strongest church in the universe (in theory), but you cant buy your beans in Tesco’s... http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2009/se ... hood-jones Tesco has been accused of religious discrimination after the company ordered the founder of a Jedi religion to remove his hood or leave a branch of the supermarket in north Wales. Daniel Jones, founder of the religion inspired by the Star Wars films, says he was humiliated and victimised for his beliefs following the incident at a Tesco store in Bangor. The 23-year-old, who founded the International Church of Jediism, which has 500,000 followers worldwide, was told the hood flouted store rules. But the grocery empire struck back, claiming that the three best known Jedi Knights in the Star Wars movies – Yoda, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Luke Skywalker – all appeared in public without their hoods. Jones, from Holyhead, who is known by the Jedi name Morda Hehol, said his religion dictated that he should wear the hood in public places and is considering legal action against the chain. "It states in our Jedi doctrination that I can wear headwear. It just covers the back of my head," he said. "You have a choice of wearing headwear in your home or at work but you have to wear a cover for your head when you are in public." He said he'd gone to the store to buy something to eat during his lunch break when staff approached him and ordered him to the checkout where they explained he would have to remove the offending hood or leave the store. "They said: 'Take it off', and I said: 'No, its part of my religion. It's part of my religious right.' I gave them a Jedi church business card. "They weren't listening to me and were rude. They had three people around me. It was intimidating." Jones, who has made an official complaint to Tesco, is considering a boycott of the store and is seeking legal advice. Tesco said: "He hasn't been banned. Jedis are very welcome to shop in our stores although we would ask them to remove their hoods. "Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda and Luke Skywalker all appeared hoodless without ever going over to the Dark Side and we are only aware of the Emperor as one who never removed his hood. "If Jedi walk around our stores with their hoods on, they'll miss lots of special offers." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jediism All I could think when reading it is 'What a f**king tool....'

    mpg??

On track Vik, flat out.... It was actually on the A944 coming back from the glenshee run. Went through Alford and a car show had ben on, I was stuck in a queue behind an old car (can't remember what it was) and reset the meter. I just feathered the throttle at 40 on a flat bit of road. Was 79, 77, then dropped to about 32. Then either I overtook or it turned off......
  20. emmmmmmmmmm, on my doorstep, I'd say the A93 (highest road in the UK apparently...) http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&sourc ... 83905&z=10 or the lecht road (A939) http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&sourc ... 83905&z=10 Basically the routes over the ski centres. Great in the car and on the bike. You can also link them via another cracker of a road that takes in 'The Bridge of Death!!!!' http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&sourc ... 45976&z=12 I love living where I live. edited to add - these roads are very scenic as well as having an interesting mix of fast and slow so always driving along with a smile on your face for one reason or another.
