  1. Is it RE040s? I thought the RE050s were OEM on the 07 model?
  2. + 1. Ran them on my mr2 roadster and they had funny tyre roll. But I can't comment on running the on the Zed as I have never used them, but I don't want to upset those who do use the on the zed, they seem happy and they do the job, they just wouldn't be my choice. Mid engined RWD with lightweight and lower power vs Front Engined RWD with quite a bit of weight and power.... I like the T1Rs on the Zed but wouldn't recomend it to drivers of other cars as you can't tell how it will react on different layouts and with different drivers etc for instance a friend of mine uses them on a golf turbo and they wear so quick on the front. Much quicker than on my Zed but I guess it's to do with handling steering AND power. And one things for sure, tyre choice seems like a personal one.
  3. Ahhhhhhh....... this is a VERY important thing to mention. The dealer will say it's down to this and it might well be.
  4. I did one a month ago with no probs....
  5. Looks nice with the front 'denty bits' smoothed out.
  6. But I dont care how good the latest 3 series drives, If I wanted to know I'd go & test drive one myself. I want to see them testing cars I could never afford and rarley even see +1 It's escapism. I couldn't give a monkeys if the mazda 6 has 3 or 4 cup holders or if a bugaboo thing fits in the boot or a nissan note or not. On 5th gear though Tiff and Jason Plato were ace.
  7. That kid needs to a check up from the neck up. He's a bloody menatlist!
  8. +1 I use mine as a second car and sometimes leave for up to 4 weeks in the garage without any issues +1
  9. done a few in my time!
  10. I'd personally say no. 2 weeks shouldn't drain the battery completely!
  11. £105 to put it on retention for a year. This includes transfer fee onto next car. £80 to transfer it onto another car.
  12. Mine hasn't arrived yet.
  13. I can accept that, I act like peter, look like Chris and have the same name as Stewie. I'm a Griffin! One thing though, Nixy isn't Ginger! Are people getting her hair colour and car mixed up?
  14. Same car, no mention of stolen recovered.....
  15. Run a couple of things through search for you try copying and pasting "burning rubber" and "burning smell" into the search bar There are a few topics to read through.
  16. There is info on the forum if you go beyond the first page or two of search, it is tedious at times I know.... Loads have it and I've never heard of an issue and it is carried by Envy and B2autodesigns. Possibly more - traders speak up! Basically, the normal benefit is an increase in torque low down with very little effort. Winner!
  17. I'd whip the pads out and have a look at them myself if you think it's that. It the smell rubber though? Not clutch or brakes? The rear pads (std brembos) have a habit of disintegrating but I haven't heard about this on the fronts.
  18. mmmmmmmm italian goodness! A pleasant change from red also.
  19. How is it being slagged off? Comments on price is a personal opinion of those posting it. The fact it says 'stolen recovered' is the point being looked at. A member pointed out it looked like another members old car which was written off. I then checked saids members posts (member is SimonD if anyone else wants to check the posts using advanced search) which showed it to be the same spec car but the reg plate wasn't visible. I then stated to any member that might potentially look at purchasing it to check the history carefully as I'd hate one of our members to buy a car and regret it later. If the owner of the car feels this is unjust then they can contact a member of the team. Also, if anyone puts up a for sale ad they can request that it is locked as stated in the forum rules at the top of the for sale section to avoid comments being made. One other thing, this topic appears in the general section so comments can be made without harming the sellers ad (which doesn't appear on the forum)
  20. Simons? Before it was replaced with the Temper? Actually, just had a quick look at Simons previous posts to see if the reg plate was visible. Only the last letter was and it was a Z. If anyone goes to look at this car make sure you get the History checked! Great catch (potentially) Pete.
  21. that belongs to a member on here.
  22. get your name down then! viewtopic.php?f=84&t=29636
  23. The two 26" Vieras I bought nearly 5 years ago were 1800 each at panasonic shop..... I paid 1850 for 2 from my mate who runs an AV shop! Still bloody crazy.....
