Something of interest to people (perhaps!) The Bose headunit which is made by Clarion suffers badly from skipping in the winter due to condensation in the unit apparently. Potholes really don't help it! In summer it's fine! The head unit in my freelander is also a clarion and it suffers this badly in winter too from skipping when cold and from pothole hitting! In summer it's fine. Coincidence? Welcome to the forum Joy.

Nice sheeting. Can see some beading at the top of you bonnet in the vid but not really enough. The water needs to sit on the paint to really see the beading.

The A6 isn't a bad shout but I'd be looking for a quattro. An E39 5 series touring (or saloon if you don't need the space) would be a good shout. Or a 4x4 of some description.

Hmmmmmmmm If you are catching your nail on it then it's a repair job normally. Maybe a mobile dude or a bodyshop? My neighbours 911 had a mark on it like that, said he didn't want to get it painted so I attacked it with my rotary and some Menz polish. Smoothed off the corners of the scratch and it disappeared. You could see it if you were dead level with it and the light was right but he'd have to run you over on a sunny day to replicate those conditions! Y
