  1. I have the Injen and fitted hydroshield. It seems to do the job. It must be said though that I don't drive in rivers etc..... If you have Fjords or live in an area prone to flooding then if might be worth changing the placement.
  2. The mods here are more into blowing goats..... isn't that right Beavis???
  3. Looks a bit like a summit. By the time postage and tax is added it wouldn't be far off the price anyway!
  4. Nothing in place however please contact any one of the team with further details and we'll help where we can.
  5. I watched it. I'm no F1 fan really. I admire the engineering behind it but it's a bit 'prawn sandwich' for me so I prefer down and dirty racing like BTCC, V8 supercars and bike racing. I watched it, the coverage in the run up was very good but the race was a snoozefest. The best of show at crufts I watched last night was more exciting! I'll try again if I'm off work to watch some racing, if not it'll be back to my non manufacturer supported BTCC and bike racing for my armchair thrills. Sorry F1, you just don't do it for me.....
  6. The LMs look great on the R34 - especially in that colour combo. Not so keen on with them on an R35 though. Personal preference though I guess!
  7. I have a secret agent or two to do a pre recce up there for me!
  8. Looks great like that! I looked at that when I got my car done but remembered that I don't really like spoilers so stuck with the lip!
  9. Well I think that'll be possible..... I'm on holiday too for 28th Aug to 16th Sept. I think we'll aim for Middle of Aug but dates will need to be confirmed as will the condition of the roads. I won't risk anybodys cars so if the roads are dangerous they won't be used.
  10. No harm in running spacers. If I found the right wheels at the right price I would fit them. I ordered my wheels new and imported them so they had to have the right offsets from the box.
  11. Great day at knockhill yesterday. Was brilliant to meet everyone and a huge thank you to alex and vicky for taking a few people out for pax laps. Patricia enjoyed waving the chequered flag too by the looks of it!
  12. Craigsplates haven't let me down. I've bought 6 different plates from them and all been spot on!
  13. Photobucket is your friend for putting pics on the forum!
  14. That's disappointing Craig. Well you live and learn I suppose. Shame though.
  15. Have a look at the sticky about what you need at the top of this section and it'll give you an idea, not sure if it'll cover your model specifically. I moved the topic into the correct section for you too.
  16. Yes. Next question please...... The phone gubbins are in the headunit.
  17. And about 1000 non activated members were wiped out when we moved to here from the old site too!
  18. I'm pretty sure that marriages have been broken up by the practical jokes offshore. I mean it's one thing tie wrapping ALL someones belongings to the roof an hour before their chopper arrives or filling their boots with dye so their feet go green for a month or signing up their email address to every porn site you can find and quite another doing something that involves wives / girlfriends. And yes I might have done the first three before..... and more.

    No 350Z for me

Fear enough you are entitled to your opinion but could you expand a bit on what you mean by the typical people that drive one? the general image that the 80's yuppy era attached to the Porsche, that its almost a badge of having success in life. This is Porsche's biggest problem. They still can't shake this stereotype of stock brokers with big quiffs driving 911's, even 25 years on. For some reason people stick all their negative opinions of Porsche solely on the Boxster, which is weird in my opinon as the boxster is surely a sign that Porsche are trying NOT to be elitist and opening up their brand to more and more of us, and not just the w_nkers in braces from the big smoke. They all drive Hyundai i10s now though seeing as they lost all their (and our) money.
  20. I wouldn't see myself out of work just to avoid a little confrontation with the management. When I found out we were being downsized (I knew who'd be going straight off however) I had my CV updated and an appointment with a recruitment agency booked within the hour. I told my boss that too. Being nice doesn't pay the mortgage. There is no harm looking for something else, you don't have to use it as a threat. If you enquire and find their is plenty work out there then maybe you'll relax. If there isn't then maybe you need to put out a few feelers.
  21. Is it a keyfob with a battery? I have had an issue in the past with my landie immobiliser not switching off. I took the dash to bits and cleaned up the connectors etc on the receiver side. Works ok now.
