  1. Is the car on standard wheels / Rays? Is it lowered? Do you plan to lower it? If no plans to lower it then 20 / 25 looks ace. If you want to lower it then maybe 20 / 20 unless you want a really aggressive stance. I'm not sure if 25 rear with lowering rubs or not though to be honest. Search will reveal plenty of info.
  2. Read the rules. The date one has been adopted from my350z I think. It is not required but nice to add in while the pen is out anyway!
  3. Ideally should be the 30 profile all round. I have no rubbing issue with 285 T1R on the rear lowered about 27mm. So 245/30x20 on the front and 285/30x20 on the rear would be your 1st choice? That's what I run absolutely trouble free.
  4. Chilli Red was the red available until 2007 when it was replaced with Rosso Red. Chilli is lovely but quite a dark shade of 'bright red' where as Rosso is mega bright. I'll look out a pic.... Loads in here viewtopic.php?f=19&t=16221 The Nismo kitted car belongs to Andy (AK350Z) and is Rosso Red The non kitted car belongs to Mal (malross) and is chilli red.
  5. You can trust Nurrish. Great dude to deal with! and he knows how to do a for sale thread properly!
  6. I'd be the best armchair PM ever. As would most people.... In reality though, I bet I'd crumble in a week.

    mats question

    I like the JDM mats.
  8. Just so you are warned, this isn't a straight swap.

    Opel GT

It was the replacement for the VX220 but was never made in RHD. Opel picked it up and so did Pontiac as the Solstice. It's a pretty good looking car.

  11. I had a look at it - didn't realise it was actually for sale or I might have talked numbers! It wasn't brandspanking, it was registered and was being used by one of the guys at the dealership.
  12. When I was a student I worked at a filling station (among other things...) If someone put in £10 of fuel and then paid by card the garage were LOSING money after they'd paid the card transaction. That was before staff etc were paid. I'd imagine that figure is closer to £20 now. The shop is where money was made. If the oil companies and petrol station owners were making sooooooooo much money on fuel then why do they all shut down? I can keep you all in the loop if OPEC take action in the form of restrictions. That's when you start complaining as then it's not purely the government at fault.
  13. Why not? What's wrong with you? Or is it all on an external drive that the missus can't find???
  14. Don't buy petrol on a Monday, wait till Tuesday! Woo Hoo ace idea! Sadly this campaign was dreamed up by someone with equal or less knowledge of operators than most of the country. Either that or it was the brainchild of someone at Shell for instance.... I'm sorry to say this, I really am but the petrol using brits cannot adjust the oil price by not buying fuel and it's extremely naive to think that it would. There are no Opec restrictions in Europe or Africa just now and I'm assuming the rest of the world is unaffected but I don't know first hand about that. The price isn't being kept artificially high by anyone. It's simply supply and demand. Ian is bang on with what he says too! In my opinion the government is at fault for charging VAT, Fuel duty and any other bloody tax they can add on. It is them that is causing the price to be stupidly high and nobody else.

what miles has your car (specifically the suspension components) done? Do you regularly launch the car or do burnouts and stuff? The Potenzas when cold might not be helping to be honest if they are 040s. They aren't that good in anything but warm weather. The 050s are much better though.

Not a term I'm familiar with. Did a quick search and uncovered some reading for later. This what you mean? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DOVtnAZYBgM&feature=fvw Not something I've seen before and everything I read (quickly) was pointing at very aggressive and not being very mechanically sympathetic to your car.
  17. Hello and welcome to the forum. Nice part of the world you're in. My Dad will be in Doha next week actually - I'll get him on the lookout for your Zed!
  18. That's one for your solicitor but my stamp duty was payable on the day I collected the keys. Sounds like you just landed a little brucie bonus!
  19. This happened not far from where I live. Loads of stories flying about at the time that it was the owners mate driving it etc. I guess that was kind of true. There were 2 Zondas in Aberdeen for a while too.... Oh and Zondas have been appreciating since the first ones were roughly a year old - great automotive investment!
  20. Midnight tonight is correct. I got screwed over by that 5 years ago when I bought my first house. The stamp duty was raised not long after I bought. £3500 down the pan. Thanks Labour.
  21. Bad news for strong cider guzzling smokers that earn over 150k PA though.....
  22. Looks like a mildly tweaked Carrera GT.

    9 second R35

Does it go round corners though????
  24. I was at my mates place (owns a powder coating company) and I was having a chat with him and he mentioned that one company had over 120 different blacks just for powder coating!!!!
  25. I'd have thought et20 would be ok. A lot depends on tyre type too! Different tyres have different physical sizes. I'd give it a go...
