  1. 5 minutes with a google machine would let you know if you're being ripped off or not. Anyway, that's a totally different matter. Feedback - any other suggestions?
  2. This. Sort of. I ask for what I want be it money or stuff and walk if they don't play ball. Ultimately if you're happy with the deal it's all that matters. I walked on a 10k Golf GTI a number of years ago over £100. I recently bought a new motorbike and it was a new model with limited availability, I still got a discount and stuff thrown in. If you don't ask you don't get.
  3. No. The boots are different shapes. There is a company in the states that sell coupe style spoilers specifically for the roadster though. Also the Nismo will fit if you like that. Do a search on the forum and a few options will come to light!
  4. What happens if the member isn't keen on letting others know how much they've spent? You get no feedback good or bad for that seller. I don't think the price is relevant to feedback personally. It's easy to get ball park figures then it's up to the buyer to do any negotiation.
  5. I agree that not publishing prices (for certain items) is a pain but I believe it only harms the trader that is selling the item. We leave the traders to sell as they see fit and will continue to do so only stepping in if required. If the trader is serious about making money they will know what sells a product best and implement these methods. I don't think the price paid is important in the feedback personally but the rest of the info is excellent.

    Bye bye Zed

    I like the running costs.
  7. Cracking! I'd love to travel with that - I get enough attention when I travel already due to the dodgy visas and stamps filling my passport!
  8. Having not read any of the previous replies I'll probably be repeating stuff. The Auto was a jap only option. Not all jap imports are auto but all autos are jap imports! Apparently it drives very well and has the ability to do 'manual' changes tiptronically. I've never driven one as they don't interest me. No idea which is faster but I can guess which one is the better driver overall.... 276 is pre 06 (except GT4s) 296 is 06-07 - higher revving but less torque) 309 is 07+ (bulgy bonnet and twin intakes) All 350Zs came with a 3.5 V6 (except the 380RS before someone comments) All UK 350Zs come with brembos on import models the S and ST do (I'm sure...) but others don't. Spec questions are easily answered by reading the FAQs and JDM section. You might have clearance issues with a +48 offset and it'll look crap! Some spacers might sort wheels out if they are proper sizes though - sorry didn't catch the size!) Again check the FAQs for anything you need to look for when buying a car and if you see a model and want a few opinions then post it up here.
  9. no need to reply like this to be honest, seems a bit harsh and unfriendly to a reasonably unexperienced member.. not the best example to be setting Agreed. This site is somewhere that is welcoming and I for one would like it to stay that way. Tyres are a good upgrade depending on what are running currently. Brake pads with SS lines and upgraded fluid is a good improvement too.
  10. +1 The Karmaan Ghia does it for me. It looks like a rather nice Stag in front of it too.
  11. Didn't want to clog up another thread with a few pics of the bike that I took on the iphone (3GS) and brightened a little using HDR for free which unsurprisingly is an HDR program that is available at no charge! pre HDR after a little tweak No HDR on this one
  12. You been attacking all the pics with iphone photoshop or HDR for free???? Some lovely cars and some decent pics there.
  13. You go to the Mike Brewer Wheeler Dealers school of accountancy? I'm sure he has loads of other overheads and his time has to be accounted for...... The guy is maybe up there with Paul Dalton but I think 7k is a little ambitious. Fair play if he can get away with it though..... It's amazing when you read DW and people think they can be a pro and be millionaires detailing. I'm sure they make a decent (average) wage but the difference is that most will love what they're doing.
  14. iTrader seems to be decent but as you say I don't think it's supported by phpbb. The geeks..... I mean admin.... are looking into some options I believe. You can always let the team know if you have issues. You have all seen that we will remove traders rights / suspend members accounts if they are bad but we don't know they are bad unless the team is notified.
  15. Not me. Just so Colin and Chris`I don't try a sneaky entry!

    Senna NSX

I check regularly. I never see Type Rs for sale. I'd like a late model one and they are £32k roughly. An early leggy one in about 14+ I see a last of the line one in blue (similar to azure) quite a bit. It's stunning!
  17. Is it wrong that I want to go home and get a balloon to do that to my cat???
  18. No. It's something we have discussed quite a bit but have never come up with anything definitive. The important thing (for me) is to get something that is easy to use / moderate while being useful and truthful. Unfortunately having a 'one post only' section would be the best but I just doubt anyone could keep to one post and it'd be a big fight every other day. Please come up with suggestions though. Something to consider also is would people want to be named or anonymous?
  19. I think you might qualify to put a nismo sticker on the car now......
